Right after the first spray on my hand, I knew that Dior Homme Intense would be my new star in the perfume sky. It's not a perfume that needs to be given 3-4 more chances before you finally love it - it's love at first sniff.

For me, it is one of the sweet perfumes like Joop Homme, Le Male and 1Million, but it has its own sweetness that stands out completely and smells wonderfully powdery and vanilla. Nevertheless, the perfume remains a pure men's perfume for me. DHI is the only one of these sweet perfumes that has been spared the mass use of 1Million, which I find very surprising given its irresistible scent, but also pleasing. It is very well received by the female sex. For me personally, the perfume has much more style and class than Le Male and 1 Million and is one of my favorite perfumes to wear. The longevity for me is in the range of 8 to 10 hours and the sillage is also pretty good. So far the best fragrance I have smelled.

Style and elegance? White shirt and jacket!

After I've put on my white shirt and thrown on my jacket, I glance at my perfume rack. Which fragrance will add the finishing touch to this outfit?
The bottle with its clean lines and deep black details - masculine in appearance - fits perfectly! I reach for the Dior Homme Intense.

Left, right - the sprays immediately add a touch of luxury and sophistication. Creamy, warm and seductive. The musk (at least that's what I smell) provides an animal note that adds significantly more depth.

On the way into the train, I see heads moving - people whispering as I walk past. On the train, I can also see the glances of the people sitting next to me and notice how the warmth of my body intensifies the intensity of the fragrance. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole carriage smelled of me.

My date has also noticed the new perfume. "You smell really great today. I think that's my new favorite perfume on you."

To sum up, the fragrance is something for men who value elegance and like to finish off outfits in style. Definitely - mainly - usable on special occasions, but one of my price/performance favorites.

Love at second sight

I smelled Dior Homme Intense for the first time in the perfumery and found it quite ok. Weeks later, when I was back on a tasting tour, I saw it again and just had to try it again. I was immediately flashed by the uniqueness of this fragrance in the designer range. A powdery, woody and sweet fragrance that is perfect for the colder months. Definitely one of my top 5 fragrances!

Yes, that's true. I always remember smelling this fragrance in perfume stores. I found it somehow strangely too metrosexual, even feminine. I didn't understand this fragrance. Without really knowing the fragrance notes, I thought to myself at the time. Make-up, lipstick has something feminine about it (I'm in the ladies' department). Who the hell wears this fragrance? I tried again and again. It wasn't until Valentina Uomo and Intense that the tide turned. I liked the two fragrances mentioned right away and Dior Homme Intense as well as Dior Homme Original, but still not. What was wrong with me?

After some time I discovered this forum. Was tired of always smelling and judging a perfume. Only ordered the fragrances after two years of membership. Smelled them and threw them in the corner and only bought the bottling again in 2022 (Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense). Today, I'm also a fan of iris/ivory and can no longer imagine a perfume collection without these fragrances.

Today I don't see it as feminine. You get older and change.

Found a dupe through a video. Let's see how it smells. I can write something after testing it.

If you don't know it, you're in luck. Smelling Dior Homme Intense for the first time is magical.
I've had this fragrance in my collection for over a year and fell in love with it at first sniff. A tart start that turns into an incredibly beautiful sweet, powdery scent on the drydown. However, the scent is not too heavy due to the iris and creates a pleasant atmosphere. At the beginning, I had difficulties with the longevity, but this has now disappeared. All in all, a really great fragrance!
