Surprise from LA
I'm not the storyteller, that's why I just chat :o) The scent was attached to my delivery of "Fueled Up" as a sample.
In the beginning, oud and vetiver are clearly separated from each other and in the background a pleasantly discreet leather note lurks around. Fortunately, the oud has no medical touch, but is soft as butter and the vetiver comes across nicely fresh and sweet - very pleasant overall.
After a few minutes, a tasty note emerges that is reminiscent of Amaretto, but not annoying. This note slowly withdraws towards the heart as the oud and vetiver gradually converge and finally merge into one. This is accompanied by a very slight smoky note, which fits very well into the overall picture.
And so the fragrance remains until it reaches the base, slowly degrading linearly. The shelf life on my skin at the current summer temperatures is about 9 hours. The Sillage could in my opinion be a little stronger - it is not more than one arm length, whereby I had only very small doses (1 splash) and one can often not estimate it 100%.
