Full bottle worthy

I had this years ago, and decluttered it when I had a fit and got rid of all my perfumes because I no longer wanted to be a collector of things (LOL). Anyhow, since I have decided to slowly get back into fragrance, I picked up a travel size of this to see if I still like it. I do. Although it doesn't have the best projection, I still really enjoy it even though I have to overspray. It is a great, clean and fresh fragrance that makes me happy. I will be picking up a full bottle when my travel spray is done.

No rain, but freshness that remains after the summer rain....

Not all rain is the same.
What does rain smell like? The rain at a North Sea storm surge definitely smells different than monsoon or the most eagerly awaited rain on a hot day.

Fragrances and their perception are also subjective. So what do I associate with rain and what do I associate with smell?

I've Never Known Rain to Smell Like This, Have You?

The name of this scent has little to do with how it actually smells. It's like Clean took their clean dryer sheets aroma and added some juicy fruit notes (pineapple?) and voila -- rain, right? Well, ok. It's not a terrible scent, just misnamed, and one that makes me occasionally faintly nauseous. As time goes on the laundry dryer sheets feel fades somewhat, becoming less chemically and more warm. It hangs on, still smelling the same at hour nine, as a skin scent. Is it clean? Yes. Is it rain? No. Then again, I guess you have to be open to some kind of artistic license here. Still, I wouldn't wear this again and if this smell came hurtling out of the sky at me I'd run away in mad confusion, feeling faintly nauseous the whole time.
