Rose Lokhoum....
Clive Christian is really expensive stuff. Many already tested and somehow all similar. Nobody's out of line. But exceptions confirm the rules. Woody floral's got something. So I was very curious, because I could get it from a very lovely perfume. Thanks again for that.
The 1st sprayer reminds me of a blackberry hedge full of ripe fruits. This fruit disappears in no time. The rose follows, not velvety moist, but delicate like cellophane, like dried and easily fragile. Vintagerose, apparently? In between a hint of jasmine. Doesn't match the colors. The fragrance is dark red to mahogany. The Patchouly fits in perfectly: warm woody, enveloping. A little mishmash with cedar. Could this be vanilla, what I perceive after hours? Long lasting elegant fragrance.
