True Myth for Weirdly Normal Men
This perfume is utterly another great discovery in Comin's collection. It's genuinely lovely, dry spicy and hot, yet not in a massive way, surely not a sharp, bold spiciness and not overpowering. I reckon the Fire part is the chilly and brisk accord, whereas the Water is the green and resinous accord. Don't be hasty as I was, despite the initial blast might be such a poor thing you already encountered many times, and the softened red and black box might not draw your attention, the scent trail hides quite a few new accords. I wonder how many fools pass up this great scent because they only sniff the top notes then chuck the test strip in the bin!

Fire Water has a good entrance that features an expertly crafted blend of spicy and herbal notes. It gives you sultriness that you expect from the appearance alone. The immediate smell you will notice is the sweetness of absinthe and the subtle freshness of the basil. Both of these notes have an anise-like smell, and it is sweet but tart at the same time. The perfume at first is too green for me. At least it does not have citrus notes on it, which traditionally are the top notes of most scents. The basil here is lively peppery, spicy, and green with new facets, reminiscent of Ungaro Man by Emmanuel Ungaro. This stage in the development is a fresh scent. Yes, just clean! It does smell a bit middle of the road and generic but only for a short time. Undoubtedly, the opening is the "Water" element.

After around half an hour, the warmth appears. It never gets too hot, but there is a spicy intrigue from the basil blending into the heart, which is all about pimento, or paprika, and modern patchouli. The scent, after a few minutes, starts to be spicy. For sure it is pimento which is responsible for this, I do not get the usual tingling in the nose from the peppercorns. Then the spiciness of it is entirely moderated by patchouli that has a minty undertone and encompasses too much warm effect on pimento. I also get a light touch of the kind of like tobacco. The heart is the "Fire" element.

The base trails into a sort of spicy will-o'-the-wisp, and while I would prefer something more robust, it does invite intimacy, so it's not a total let down! During the dry downstage, the base notes add the aromatic color to the entire fragrance. The scent is warm and resinous through the notes featuring styrax and benzoin. I would risk, definitely something balsamic, meaty, and gloomy.

I like the scent very much because of its unusual smell plus the longevity that is unmeasurable. The redolence for me is not traditional despite the ordinary opening. It gives you a humid effect, though, so best to use it during fall or winter but not ideally during spring and summer. I like how the effect it gives on your skin. In my experience, it gives me an awe-inspiring strength and a more sensual feeling. It is like you feel sexy and confident all the time. There is so much that I imagine when I am wearing this. Plus, the longevity lives up to your expectation. The smell too is not overpowering, and I think it is healthy but pleasant at the same time.
Overall, this is a severe contender for day-wear, a little bit bitter, dry spicy, and fresh and warm at the same time. I don't think it is powerful enough for nights out, although excellent for nights in. Perfect for the colder months, the fragrance will invigorate the senses and keep you feeling warm.
Noteworthy. I find the dry down very similar to Armani Code. Spray Armani code on one arm, and Fire Water on the other and smell them both an hour later. Here we go, you'll see what I mean.
