At lofty heights on the church roof, the last copper plates replaced and nailed down, climbed back into the roof truss and descended the wooden staircase with the metal handrail.
Resinous incense and myrrh rising from the nave mingles with the smell of the oxidized copper plates and the new copper remnants.

Once downstairs, I take some vanilla tobacco from my tin can and stuff a pipe for later. Through the open window, I take in the fresh green and resinous air, which combines with the sacred scents of the church.

Although no incense is listed, it could be this combination for me: the copper note is pleasantly interwoven with galbanum resin, myrrh and vanilla tobacco leaves and later powdered.
A few crumbs of pipe tobacco fell beside it.

"Copper" is great olfactory cinema. A perfume, so ingenious and varied, inspired and clever, that I forgive him almost everything. No matter. "Copper" is magical for me, as if one had still a field in English attached to him...

Would I be allowed to wear and buy the rest of my life only perfume of a brand, then it would probably be Comme des Garcons. Have I said many times, I stay with. Absolutely exceptional house in terms of both quality, creativity and quantity in the unreached no man's land between designer and niche. And "Copper" is another milestone for my taste in this noble house. Special, almost indescribable. Rather the thought and the head cinema to copper than the real smell of the brown-matte metal. Sun lotion from the marketing book is closer to its core. But there's so much more, its depth drilling circles around the competition. Sometimes dry sand in the summer sun, close to Tauer. At times green spices full of sophistication and zing. A chameleon and yet with a clear line. Sometimes also this juicy red vinosity of the above mentioned Creed. A galbanum beast in any case. Changeable and never boring. Fascinating and famos. Hip but not deliberate. Cool and all natural. Perhaps copper in name, but more gold in value for me. Creamy. Synthetics done right again. Metal cuddly. Wearable all year round. Dreamy vegetable counter. Probably most ideal for fall. Addictive tobacco. Sweet, unctuous. Alien vanilla. A little Burberry London For Men. You can't get much more enthusiastic than that.

Flacon: very good. No, near masterpiece. "Copper" is interesting, delicious, sunny, different, creative, green, metallic, fine, high-quality, artistic. And totally Comme des Garcons. Asterisk

Exactly what I expected from a niche fragrance from CDG.

I am not writing my first comment without cause. The fragrance has already been described excellently here. I have been wearing Copper for about 14 days now and have never been so often addressed with any other fragrance, exclusively positive. That culminated finally in the mentioned occasion and the surely not completely seriously meant request of an extremely nice waitress to be allowed to lick me nevertheless please once over the neck. Copper is sexy and does exactly what a niche fragrance of this quality should do! - Disturbed, confused, fascinated - desirable, almost penetrating, but extraordinary. My fragrance for this summer. Thanks a lot!

When I spray on Copper I feel the smell a little unpleasant - metallic is fine, but not like iron, different. After a while the tobacco smell comes, like dried tobacco leaves or unlit cigars. After a while the smell becomes more pleasant, very powdery, like these blue Felce Azzurra products. I love this powdery one very much - only unfortunately it changes back to the tobacco smell after a while - on the skin more than on clothes, on clothes it stays powdery. This fragrance is not sweet to me at all, nor do I perceive a fruity component as some people write. For me, the scent would be brilliant if the powdery would prevail and the tobacco smell would remain in the background. But this scent is always interesting.
