Cocoa caravan to chocolate wings
Look no further if you are looking for an authentic chocolate fragrance. I was on this mission, I visited non-chocolate perfumeries, I was introduced to the Chocolate Greedy but also the Lait et Chocolat and one from Sorriso. But everything, really everything, smelled like cheap cocoa from a vending machine, which is still mixed with water and not milk. I had almost lost hope that I would come across an authentic chocolate - or even have the same understanding of a chocolate flavor in my mouth as my fellow humans - even after all the forum posts I read that were specifically directed at those who were on the same mission to find a real chocolate. One person mentioned this one. I don't know what gave me the impetus to give this one a shot at a smell sample souk, since it only caught a few statements and is only available overseas by mail order anyway. But I came across a unique perfumo-ist, Melanie, who simply whipped up samples for perfume enthusiasts for a smile. She promised me that if this fragrance wasn't bought by next Saturday, because it's probably unknown and not wanted here anyway, we'd "snatch it up". And lo and behold - it landed in my mailbox.
And check - here I am at the end of the mission. Mission Possible. Long live the "CHOCOLATE!", as the SpongeBob fish would shout. It's hard for me to decide whether it's a milk chocolate or a darker chocolate, but I think it's 70%. So, for anyone interested, don't settle for cocoa, grab the bar, snack a little like the boy from "Matilda" or the guy who fell into the chocolate fountain in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's drier but not too pretentious and it's not at all reminiscent of Milka. More like Moser Roth. If you know you know.
