Hm... crabs with apricot taste?
After a long time here's another comment about the brand Crabtree & Evelyn, which, although it's just a name, always makes me think about trees populated by crabs :D I think that would be a great sight somehow, especially since crabs are cute animals with a funny walk (yes,... Cats aren't the only sweet animals in the world :D).
Although I've never seen this brand anywhere "outside" before, I like it because thanks to you I was able to test some of its fragrances here and found some of them to be totally good (e.g. Himalayan Blue or Somerset Meadow). Not to mention that I was spared the trip to the ladies department :D
Today I come to Nadira. A woman's name used mainly in Arabic or Indian-speaking countries. The inspiration for this fragrance here was the country of Morocco. A country that is also a popular holiday destination. A country whose national drink is tea... he he he, no no I'm not digressing now by talking about Moroccan tea with milk... no... not milk, but mint :DD! Therefore I come rather times to the smell :)
Yes, you can smell the apricots in the top note. The fruity touch also fits very well into the summery orientation of the fragrance. The stuffy floral notes that I described shortly before are gradually disappearing, which makes the fragrance even better for me.
It remains fruity-sweetish for a while until a hint of (not definable) spices emerges slowly towards the base, giving the fragrance a small "spicy" note.
A little later one still smells fruity-sweet notes, but now clearly smellable roses are added (while the other floral scents except for jasmine fade away). The sweetness is reinforced in the base by musk, I smell light, clean notes in the background and also the fragrance gets a more and more oriental touch.
Its shelf life is also mediocre, so that after five or six hours it can hardly be smelled on the skin.
Nadira is a beautiful fragrance, which first starts a little fresh and citric, then becomes fruity and sweet and then gets more and more an oriental touch, whereby it doesn't belong to the heavy Orientals, but is more relaxed and therefore summery.
It smells nice, but is unfortunately a bit weak, so that it is actually only suitable as a day scent, since it will quickly fade when going out.
Maybe for some it is a fragrance like many others, but for me it belongs to the nicely made fragrances, even if it should smell a bit too "mainstream". It also has a small spicy note, which makes the fragrance more oriental as I said, but here it also fits well into the summer, since the fragrance is not difficult.
Yes, you could try it out... if the scent wasn't already set.
And now I have to think about the crabs I saw loitering on rocks near the coast during my last vacation. Really beautiful animals :)

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins fresh with bergamot, but soon becomes a little stuffy with floral notes. The jasmine among them gives off its beautiful sweetness as usual, the gardenias and apparently other flowers I don't know make the scent slightly dry and embroidery, although at the same time they also radiate a spring-like aura, which is of course quite nice seen this way. The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is okay at first, but it weakens quite fast, so that you can only smell it from close up for a short time. It is better to re-spray the fragrance once or twice a day. Its shelf life is also mediocre, so that after five or six hours it can hardly be smelled on the skin.
The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and has, matching the name, oriental looking patterns on it. Even the frame of the label (which isn't actually a label because everything is printed directly on the bottle) has an oriental touch. The lid is gold-plated, slightly wider in height and has a band with patterns on the bottom. A beautiful bottle, which would come across quite simply without these patterns.
