sad "vat juice"
I saw the terrible rating for this one, yet somehow I held out hope. The note listing contains several of my favorites, and I thought the bottle might be nice to have. So I ordered a sample.
Sherapop refers sometimes to "vat juice," a chemical brew presumably blended in giant industrial-size vats out of vastly unnatural scents and sold to the unsuspecting. I am sorry to say that "Love from New York" is a prime example thereof. In the first few minutes, it was a pleasant enough generic floral with hints of apricot and blackcurrant. However, it soon dried down to a piercing high-pitched chemical whine that felt like a mechanical woodpecker drilling a hole in my sinuses. 45 minutes was all I could take before scrubbing.
