Big Apple in a bottle? Are you delicious?
I used to know Be Delicious fragrances for women.
Strong, fruity-sweet, dominant fragrances.
The DKNY Be Delicious men series has (unfortunately) not much to do with it.
Both the normal Be Delicious Men and the Red Delicious Men contain woods and coffee. They have that in common.
Red Delicious for Men:
It starts alcoholic fruity, yes at the beginning also tasty, rum with apple liqueur and vanilla vodka. Not pungent, pleasantly alcoholic, with little apple to smell. Right after spraying it is great, even the smell on the spray head. Here the normal Be Delicious Men has the sour apple at the beginning in it, which I did not like so much.
Then follows a mixture of alcoholic notes, apple liqueur is there before the initial chords fade after about 15-30 minutes, the fragrance becomes close to the body and the woody coffee note appears in the main fragrance. Something alcoholic in the background remains perceptible.
It's definitely not fruity-sweet, these are the women's versions of Be Delicious.
He's alcoholic-woody-coffee-heavy.
It is also the coffee that neutralizes and covers the initial scents. Too bad.
They tried to make the scent look masculine. He is certainly not really manly, fruity sweet but also not. I.e. one can carry I also as a man well.
The Red Delicious Men is better than the normal Be Delicious Men, but rather good midfield. No high flyer.
In a way, I now understand why the Be Delicious Men series was discontinued.
They simply did not keep up with the women versions, neither from fragrance nor from commercial success.
