Dark spicy chocolate
Cafe Noir has a very spicy start with a light sweetness and also a bit of resin. I don't notice the bergamot.
The sweetness increases and something floral mixes with the scent. But the rose and the jasmine have no chance against the spices like pimento and some cinnamon. Half an hour after applying the scent I can't smell anything from the flowers anymore.
Instead, Cafe Noir now becomes very balsamic, spicy and chocolaty. I wasn't expecting that. I can't smell coffee.
After about an hour vanilla becomes more and more obvious and the sweetness retreats more into the background. Cafe Noir now has something soothing about it.
Not much changes now, only after about three hours I mean something earthy for a short time, but quite pleasant to smell.
Cafe Noir smells for me not like coffee, but for some time after a dark chocolate which was quite strongly spiced. Still no chocolaty scent.
For me Cafe Noir is ideal for cold and cool temperatures. Not necessarily for going out but well suited for a nice evening or a walk.
The Sillage is very strong for the first three hours, the comments of my colleagues were clear and after about five hours Cafe Noir slowly becomes very close. The shelf life is 10 hours.
