Kiss your lips and pull your nose!
Bonjour, you snoopers! Here I am, ... yes yes... again and again... and talk to you ... yes yes... again and again... with a new comment full. ... Yes yes... again... :))

Today we are talking about a fragrance in a rather unusual bottle. At a quick glance, I thought it was something molten golden... until I saw the brand, Dali, and then knew immediately that the bottle was probably designed according to the artist's works. Thus one recognizes then also with the repeated look that the bottle represents gilded lips, with a likewise gilded nose as cover.

For all who are interested: the bottle was created after a painting by the artist, namely after his work "Aphrodite" from 1981, in which the nose and the lips are in the foreground. Anyway, I really like the bottle, but not because I'm still single and might be tempted to kiss those lips (or? Let's think, hmmm...!!), no, it's not like that, but I know that's what you were thinking!!!! What thoughts you have again! Tsss... it is only a shapely modelling of female lips, which you would like to kiss and... uh... oh forget that!!! Better read the fragrance description now!!!

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins with many roses and also a lot of amber, so it is both floral and quite sweet. This gives him a very feminine charisma right from the start, but also a slightly more mature appearance. By this I mean that despite its appearance in 2017, the fragrance comes across more like a women's fragrance of the 80/90s, where many women's fragrances had been scented in this more mature style and were also more heavy and intense.
It smells pretty good, as I said. A little vanilla quickly adds to this, giving the fragrance a softer and more powdery aura, which is particularly beautiful thanks to other soft and beautiful notes such as sandalwood.
From Patchouli, one only notices little, at the most, if one sniffs at the sprayed place. Amber, rose and a little woody notes are what you smell the most. Even later, the fragrance doesn't change and you can still smell the amber best, together with the vanilla and barely noticeable woody notes. The background seems to be a bit harsh, so that from time to time it even seemed a little bit like tobacco to me, at least if you really sniff the sprayed spot in detail. And very, VERY much later the scent only smells like... you can imagine it already,... like vanilla!

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is strong, of course it weakens a bit in the next moments, but still stays quite smelly for a while, even at longer distances than just standing next to one. I also found the shelf life to be quite high with over ten hours.

The bottle:
As described in the introduction, the bottle is gold-plated and represents a mouth or lips. The lid has been shaped like a nose. All this is a reference to the painting "Aphrodite" by Salvador Dali. Not only does this make the bottle look pretty great, it's also very original and sets it apart from many other bottles. I like it!

*kiss kiss, bottle kissed off* ... Stop! No, no! You didn't see anything, did you?!
*sigh* ... got caught again... but I have a good reason to: It's so hot again! And the bottle's nice and cool, so... I'm just... I'm just gonna cool off with... ho ho ho... :D
Heat waves in summer are quite exhausting after all. Especially when it's raining and it gets really humid, baaaah!

And since I say summer: The scent here is certainly not a summer scent, because it is heavy and intense. It may look a bit like an all-rounder, but I would recommend autumn and winter for the fragrance. It can then be worn in the evening, when going out or on other festive occasions.

When I wrote earlier that it came across as a fragrance from the 80/90s, I didn't mean that it was also old-fashioned and therefore only for women... uh,... upscale age (again and again risky to write something like that... :D), because these kinds of fragrances were worn by younger women during the 80/90s. You'll have to try it yourself, but it's beautiful if you like roses and amber. Unfortunately I don't know if the scent is still available somewhere, but since it came out rather new, it should surely stand around somewhere. A test by Fabulous Marudhaï, whose name by the way is based on the Indian city of Madurai (I think...), can be worth it, only maybe not now in summer. And yes, the fragrance comes across as very feminine, especially at the beginning, but only much later in the base does it become a bit unisex, because the amber reminds me of fragrances such as Diors Ambre Nuit. But I'd still put him in the women's category first.

And that brings me to the end. I wish you all a nice evening, then until the next time :)
