The excitement knows no bounds...Not even in space
A 10 rating for a fragrance from The Library of Fragrance/Demeter?
Only "Salt Air" could have done that - at least for me.
Of course there are many great scents from this wicked house, which is based in America.
Some are "interesting" at best, some are bad...but then there are also some that make me feel really enthusiastic.
Besides the above mentioned "Salt Air" this is now clearly "Spacewalk".
Why this is so, I would like to explain in the following.
Expectations are always one of those things
The problem with TLOF fragrances is that you are almost forced to make blind purchases.
I have never seen the creations of them anywhere in the stationary trade to test them before buying.
Often only a look into the omniscient internet can help But what's that spewing out? Well... not much Sweet notes... metallic notes... I can't do much with that Elsewhere it is said to smell of nice fresh soap.
Well, what?
I just try to find my own words for "Spacewalk"
In search of a "fresh laundry" scent I have already tried quite a few things.
But I finally found him.
Where "Laundromat" came across as much too soft, where "Warm Cotton Breeze" simply bites the nose with its cold synthetics, "Spacewalk" finds the perfect middle ground.
Ultra fresh without being biting. Clean, discreetly sweet, soapy without being flowery.
This scent looks as if the boys and girls from TLOF/Demeter had asked me personally how my ultimate clean scent should smell.
Plus, "Spacewalk" brings back some kind of memory.
Which I can't name for the life of me. I definitely know this - or a very similar - scent. The brain is already fascinated that it can store odours
Often the durability of these fresh fragrances is a problem, especially with an Eau de Cologne like TLOF.
Here I can give the all-clear with the best conscience. The durability is super and lasts for several hours without any problems.
The same applies to the Sillage.
Everyone in the middle radius should be able to perceive the walk in space.
I am super happy that I have tried this fragrance - whose name hardly reveals anything -
Now I can stop my search for THE fresh laundry scent with peace of mind.
Spacewalk doesn't annoy, Spacewalk doesn't pander. Above all, "Spacewalk" never smells cheap
It is like a second skin, it is familiar and yet exciting and new. He is multi-faceted and valuable
Does the vulture know how TLOF/Demeter approached this fragrance and chose the name for it.
I don't care either.
I'm celebrating my second 10 out of 10 from The Library of Fragrance.
My respects... In times like the present, where a little distance is good for all of us, a trip into space is a real alternative
Have a good flight :)
