Beautiful Frollein, may I dare carry you home by my neck?
Recently, on my way home, I quickly went back to Douglas and was bored along the shelves. I already know everything, almost everything stupid... But I wanted to spray something on for the return trip, so that I have something to sniff on the way. So I went to Miss Dior, thought, he's actually nothing, and off to the parking lot. And glued to your wrist all the way through the ride. Must have looked weird...

This new 2017 version is badly criticized. I know the 2012 Miss and a few others, and unfortunately they were nothing at all for me. Almost all of them I found somewhat intrusive with a piercing note. That's why I always left out the new version. But what went from my wrist to my nose was love at first sight! And I bought it the very next day, the so often scorned Miss.

The Frollein opens tangy and fresh with mandarin. But very quickly the fragrance also becomes floral and warm. Miss Dior has a noble, wonderfully fragrant aura. Later on, the fragrance remains warm and velvety, and Patchouli gives depth, but is not as dominant as in the 2012 version. I also smell some vanilla.

This Miss is sweeter, yes, but I don't think the sweetness here is too much, but just right. For me this Miss is much softer, less chypry and thus the first Miss of so many that I really like. I love her! If I didn't think it was possible myself. It is wearable around the clock on all occasions, except perhaps in midsummer.

I understand anyone who's angry and/or sad when they're screwing around with their favorite scent. I feel the same way, after all. I can't take a joke either when my pets get fucked up. But: One person's suffering can also be the other's pleasure, in this case MY pleasure! I think this scent is much better now. So if you didn't like the other Miss Diors like me, you might also find a new fragrance love in them!

I'm going to take up my lance
Just before Christmas, the boarding school where I work has a big party. A long-awaited ball night, where hearts burn and break before you have to say goodbye to each other the next day for the next three weeks.
Great cinema. Especially since the event is split into two parts. The classes 5 to 8 have their own little ball in a protected frame. And I had the honour to accompany the whole thing morally and photographically. Of course, evening dress is obligatory and my little divas spared neither trouble nor expense to dig up each other's water. The little 5th graders were still a little shy and timid, the 8th graders with their courageous make-up were already optically so mature that they could have easily mastered many a club door. I was speechless for a moment. But one stood out of the sea of pubertal party frenzy that had become flesh. She wore the luxuriant curls of her long dark blond hair tucked to one side, had her dark blue saucer eyes discreetly accentuated and filled the room with the warmth of her radiant smile. She wore a knee-length dress, off-the-shoulder on one side, whose fine black fabric shimmered slightly and harmonized perfectly with the delicate black Mary-Janes on her even more delicate feet. When I complimented her on her outfit, I became suspicious. We were standing in a proverbial cloud of perfume. But it can't be It smells so deep, so grown-up, sensual, dark, soft, mysterious, enveloping. It's definitely not my perfume. It's good too, but different. I literally inhaled the veil of scent and there was no doubt. The little lady in black scented me so expertly. Without hesitation, I asked her the question of questions. Slightly embarrassed and flattered, she smiled at me and replied: "Miss Dior, I took the eau de parfum specially today."
I see. Miss Dior smells all grown-up? This unbelievably deep and dark patchouli, which gets a warm and cuddly aura through the rosewood and never looks gloomy despite the darkness? Miss Dior! Once again I am speechless. There is still something discreetly floral that resonates, but does not dominate. A soft rose hiding behind the rosewood and only smelling softly across. I also perceive a fine vanilla, although it is supposedly not there at all. The scent is slightly sweet, but it's a soft, round sweetness - not the sharp knife of melted and resolidified sugar that other popular scents from the fruity floral shelf tend to ram directly into my olfactory center.
I often walk past her that evening and each time I do so with a conscious smelling and perception. And each time I find the scent more and more unsuitable for this beautiful young girl. The fragrance tells stories about the being and the experiences of its wearer and to collect these stories it takes more than 14 Lenze. The fragrance is so sensual that it needs an opulent femininity to give it an even more opulent femininity. Fragrant reciprocity. Or something like that.
The decision has long since been made to test the fragrance at the next opportunity. When I see the bottle, my eyes practically roll back on their own. Would you like a little more Girlie? Another little ribbon around the neck of the glass?
I immediately spray on the skin and immediately disillusionment spreads. Where are the dark tones? Here nothing smells in a minor key, here a bright rose in a shrill major screams right into my face. She makes a very artificial appearance. Pepper, tangerine? No idea. It smells to me of all the worldly pleasing monotony. The sensual femme fatale tragically blown away by the wind. Au revoir, Miss Dior! You're that annoying teenager I was picturing before we met About an hour later it is finally time. The Miss chills her base (I actually hear this more often) and surrounds me with this wonderfully seductive aura, which so abruptly captivated me on the ball evening. I am instantly reconciled with the nasty top note and am happy that Miss cooperates with my skin.
The fact that I have to wait a while for this scent moment doesn't really bother me, as the fragrance is extremely durable in this form and also doesn't weaken in terms of sillage. On my scarf, I can still perceive it clearly even after a week.
This Miss is definitely wrongly leading a shadowy existence here. I like her. But it's not the Miss, it's the Missus

True dream on warm skin
Love at first sight it was not exactly with us. Although your wonderful flacon has already flirted with me from the beginning.
Your parents' house, stylish as it is, has always pleased me well. Only your content I had somehow as much too flowery and "girly" in memory. Too little statement and too little "myself". I thought at least.
Then a year ago I reached in a well-known fragrance house for your "I" and for whatever reason - suddenly I recognized a piece of myself in it.
It was already summer and right after the first spray I thought - wow, you smell expensive and high quality!
Nevertheless, the thought - "too bloomy" was still there.
First you are quite fresh, probably the lemon gently embraced by the tangerine.
Then something scratches my nose, just enough that it doesn't bother me yet. I suspect it's the pink pepper that makes you come across a wee bit rebellious here.
But from then on you become just beautiful on my skin. You become warm, subtly sweet, very feminine and also elegant. Yes - I like you! By now, even very.
In the Dry Down you become even a little rounder and more beautiful with me. Although no vanilla slumbers in you, I have an association with it - that will probably be the precious rosewood - maybe just because it was united in you with patchouli.
Anyway - I like you steadily better and I wear you suspiciously often on my skin lately. Who would have thought that?!
Of course, what's already reaching another dramatic touch here is the fact that you've now been brutally taken off the market because of your successor...and just when I've learned to value and genuinely love you...
What a shame!
And I'm left to wonder - did it really have to be this way!

Scent: you need a little time to develop but then you are really a warm, soft and feminine dream.

Sillage: Pleasant and never too much.

Durability: With this you can "work" well.
A tip - with the Roll On (EdT) it can be extended prima or refresh.

Flacon: Very nice and feminine - I really like.
Price: You come from a good house, your price is appropriate - however, it is rising straight to heaven.

Miss Dior of today
1.
Miss Dior 2017 has definitely nothing at all in common with the "Miss Dior (Eau de Toilette Originale) tested by me recently except the names.

2.
I noticed again how much I prefer lemon and/or mandarin in the top note than the omnipresent bergamot. And so I like the start of MD 2017, where the rose already makes itself felt in the background, very well.

3.
After 1 - 1 1/2 hours, my nose reports irritated, I already know the fragrance. Right, it reminds me of "La Vie est Belle L'Éclat L'Eau de Parfum" very fruity floral and sweet - red fruit jelly was then my association. Then with MD 2017, it's more of a fruit tea "red fruit jelly", is lighter overall. This fragrance moment also does not last sooo long, as the comparison fragrance of Lancome on my skin never ending. In other fragrances, I definitely like fruity-floral-sweet. What makes the difference, I have not yet found out.

4.
The base then doesn't quite replace the fruity-floral-sweet part, but it does capture it, adding woody and spicy notes. Something that the base of the LVEB L'Èclat does not succeed.

5.
The charisma of MD2017 is for me in the upper middle field as well as the durability with 7 - 8 hours.

Conclusion: goes so. Does not beat me into flight. But I definitely do not have to have.

Spring, summer...
... Autumn & Winter:
For my taste the fragrance (correctly dosed) always works!
In summer he makes me happy, in winter or on grey rainy days he gives me a cuddly, warm mood.
He brings a certain elegance and radiating calmness with him, just right for me, a nervous and often hectic person I love the fragrance from its fruity start to the last gentle scent after a whole day without re-spraying.
I have also often been asked about him - of all my other fragrances he is the one that has aroused the most curiosity.
Unfortunately I don't have it at all with scents - How do you manage to smell them out of scents in detail?
I smell anyway: delicious, elegance and harmony.

I loved the version released in 2012, called Cherie, but it was reformulated. Alas, the darling spin was gone. It’s too strong now.
