Lolita
The following text tends to exaggerate ;-)

It wasn't so long ago that I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed how grown-up my face had become. No, I don't have a problem getting older, but something was different. Promptly I took my old identity card to the hand. That's right, my face has become very mature. At the age of 20 I still had chubby cheeks and a moon face in general. Well, between the 20's face and the current 30's face lie 10 years, 35 kilograms less, more make-up routine and lots of party nights.
Then I had to find out that I like my face very much, as it is now. It looks very feminine with its high cheekbones and not so thick cheeks. When I prepare myself in front of the mirror, then I like to feel like a classic diva.

Yeah, I'm not the moon-faced kid anymore! I am a confident femme fatale.

But then I put on Poison Girl. And suddenly I am Lolita, who with her innocent but flirtatious aura turns men's heads and doesn't really understand what she's doing.

I'm not saying that Poison Girl makes you smell like a teenager (I smelled like synthetic strawberries and, surprise, vanilla when I was a teenager).
No, it makes you feel innocent but challenging and self-confident. You hide the true femme fatale behind the face of a child woman.

Poison Girl isn't a pure sweet scent to me. For me he carries something dark, something mature with him, without becoming as grumpy as a "real women's perfume". He knows how to hide the dark the complete course of the scent but not completely The scent doesn't change great, at least on my skin. He has for me from beginning to end, this lasciviously provocative aura that makes him very interesting in my eyes.

Poison Girl is for me the Lolita among the Poison fragrances and definitely not only for young girls.

Dior Poison Girl (EdP) vs. Armaf Eternia // Arab clone beats designer

Moin all you crazy perfumas (and you crazy perfumos, if you're reading this too) out there. I hope you are well. :-)

(Just a quick review? This one starts as always visible below)

Shall we start with some useless knowledge? Good! Because that's my area of expertise! :-P

So here are three facts that won't get you anywhere in life, but will still bring you joy - to loosen up, so to speak! So:

- The most common search query on Yahoo is "Google."

- In most cases, the packaging of cornflakes contains more nutrients than the cornflakes inside it.

- Dr. Oetker's first name is August.

There, that's enough for now

Let's get back to the serious stuff! I wrote in my last review about two cheap banger fragrances from the house of Banana Republics (Dark Cherry & Amber + Tobacco & Tonkabean) and at the end announced to the ladies (especially the sweet tooth!) that my next review will be about a still very unknown banger Cheapie from an Arab fragrance house.
This Cheapie is
*drum roll please
* "Tadaaa" (is that how you spell it?) the "Eternia Woman" from Armaf. Not only the pyramid of fragrances gives you an idea that this fragrance is based on a well-known model, as is typical for Armaf. Therefore, I present this fragrance also in direct comparison to its role model, the Poison Girl (EdP) by Dior.

So we start but as usual pragmatic and rummage through the respective categories :-)

Flacon: Poison Girl 9/10 - Eternia 3/10

Let's start with the bottle from the house of Dior. And we make it short. I find him great and absolutely appropriate. Bright color. Solid glass, good feel, great sprayer. Here everything fits.

Well, and now to the armafflakon. What can I say? This bottle does not deserve the designation and is pretty much the worst of its kind, which I was allowed to hold in my hand so far. Cheap plastic, terrible Zippo lighter design, filling level not recognizable and a sprayer that even compared to the cheapest drugstore bottles still catastrophically bad. Really a complete complete disaster. Only plus point. From 1.5m distance is not so bad to look at on the shelf.

The fragrance: Poison Girl 8.5/10 - Eternia 9/10
Again, we start with the Poison Girl. And right off the bat, this fragrance does not even try in restraint but hits directly and sweet-loud on the 12. lemon and orange in the top note let a certain citrus freshness guess, but this has at no time a chance. The orange is rather only recognizable by a fruity sweetness. It gets straight bubble-gummy (great word), but without getting too cutesy-kitschy-childish. The typical combination of vanilla and light rose sets the tone. After a short time, the next main actor comes on stage, the bitter almond. This provides for this wonderful, light marzipan vipe. The tonka bean also adds some sweetness. There is no real scent progression after a short while. The fragrance is after 20 minutes in the development at the end. Is but for all who like it sweet most certainly dreamlike.

Let's move on to the Eternia, and for this I had only one word after the first smell: Wow!!! This one also starts off incredibly direct and loud. And he is so frighteningly close to his role model that it makes no sense to chew through the same fragrance description again. There are a few small differences though. I like the Eternia - and this is surprising - even better. It's a bit sweeter overall - and you have to like sweet to like this scent - a bit "lighter" and a lot creamier. Sandalwood is listed in both, but it's much more noticeable in the Eternia and it makes for a dreamy creaminess along with the orange blossom. Synthetic? Definitely, but not at all pungent or distracting. (This also applies to the model of Dior, by the way!) The fragrance is, in short, just insane!

Short form: two pretty direct, continuous licorice raspler - Eternia even sweeter, even louder, even creamier - even more delicious!

Shelf life: Poison Girl 8/10 - Eternia 9/10

Anyone who follows my reviews knows what the scoring means. Poison Girl holds its good 8 hours. Totally okay.

The Eternia, however, actually holds even better. 9-10 hours creates this without problems.

Sillage: Poison Girl 8/10 - Eternia 9/10

Here the same, Poison Girl really passable especially in the first 2 hours over an arm's length perceptible without filling rooms. The Eternia, however, fills the first 2-3 hours EVERY room and is also thereafter anything but skin deep. Great cinema!

Wearability: Poison Girl 7,5/10 - Eternia 6,5/10

Here Poison Girl has, due to the not quite so heavy sillage, slightly ahead. Both but clearly candidates for the fall / winter. To celebrate or for a date also all year round. Only the midsummer I would clearly avoid here. For me, all fragrances in this world are unisex, however, this one is already extremely feminine! Age? Doesn't matter. Also suitable for young-at-heart sweet tooth. :-)

Compliments: Poison Girl 9/10 - Eternia 9/10

They're both on equal footing here and they'll both be very well received properly dosed too. My wife has not received any negative feedback for any so far. However, already a lot of positive. The Eternia was even re-bought twice by acquaintances. That is here clearly at the ratio of.....

...Price / performance PG 7/10 - Eternia 10/10

With about 90,00€/100ml Poison Girl plays here in the typical Dior league. For me, almost a little too expensive, but still just within the framework. But just not to compare with the already almost ridiculous 25.00 € for 80ml, which Armaf calls up here. Outrageously cheap price, which invites to the blind purchase!

Summary:

Poison Girl is a typically sweet designer that knows how to please if you like sweet scents. You get this with a designer typical H/S, at a designer typical price. The bottle is great, also the sprayer is above average.

The Eternia, on the other hand, is a clone that I like even better fragrance-wise and brings an extremely good H/S. For this price already almost Beastmode! For this, the bottle is pretty much the worst I was ever allowed to hold in my hand. The sprayer is disastrous and is even below drugstore level. But all that is negligible at this dumping price. You want one of the two scents? If you want the original by all means go for it, for those who already have and love the original, and for those who don't care to buy a clone, get the Eternia!!! This fragrance is simply world class and Armaf shows once again that a fragrance does not have to be expensive!!!

So dear ones, thank you for your time.

You've done it. So now get back to taking care of the important things in life.

Like, for example, the Icelandic word for the panda bear. It's bambusbjörn, by the way.

Yes, yes useless knowledge, my greatest strength.

My greatest weakness? Ask my wife. Whereby, she herself is probably the answer ;-)

As always hanseatic greetings ⚓

Poison Woman
When Ur Poison was launched in 1985, I couldn't stand the scent at all. To stay with the truth, I hated him rather. At every corner you could smell Poison and always, without exception, he was worn in absolute overdose.

Poison I first got to know and appreciate here on Parfumo and that's why Poison also moved in with me. Meanwhile, I find this perfume incredibly beautiful and my curiosity for the Poison offshoot was aroused.

So it came that I got me a bottling of Poison Girl and that although I am now very, very far away from a girl.
Why they called the perfume Poison Girl in the house of Dior is incomprehensible to me. This is not a girlie or Lolita fragrance - PG is adult and can and should be worn by women of all ages.

PG starts fruity sweet and I detect a hint of orange as well. However, no gum, no Hubabuba, but fruity, floral sweetness. Roses I can not detect, flowers already, but just not roses.

As it progresses, I perceive vanilla and a hint of animalic. I can well imagine that one has built a few drops of musk with, which provide a dirty touch and give PG sexyness.

All in all, PG is a fragrance for adults. Even though it is sold as a women's fragrance, I can imagine it on men as well, even though my own husband is not in that demographic.

The longevity is absolutely fine at 7 to 8 hours and I will, now that spring is here, happily wear my bottling of PG. Yes and who knows, maybe he also makes it into my collection.

An undying love
I actually have a long history with this fragrance. Long, long before I even knew about Parfumo, I used to walk right into the duty free at the airport and put it on. That's right, in the airport. Because I never went to perfume stores. And this noble fragrance had the name Dior on it, which of course impressed me when I was 16. And the bottle was so beautiful and it just smelled so good. I don't care that the scent was way too much to sit in the confined space on the plane. It still got applied and I felt insanely grown up and elegant.
Now over 5 years later, I can finally call it mine. I have to confess, it actually got lost in my collection! For a while it was there for nostalgic reasons. But today I used it and it was like it was back then. The great love. A beautiful sweetness has been enveloping me all day. The orange makes sure it doesn't get too sweet. And the rose adds a certain elegance. I could bathe in this scent. Right now while I've been sitting at home in front of my laptop in sweatpants every day for the past year and a half thanks to Corona, this scent brings elegance to my life. I quickly traded the sweatpants for a skirt, found a pretty blouse too. And even my hair was allowed out of its permanent ponytail and was shocked at that. "Are you going anywhere else?," I was immediately asked. No, I'm not going anywhere. I'm just feeling good, beautiful and elegant for once today. All day I sniff my wrist and I never want to miss this scent in my collection. And I want even less to miss how I feel when I wear it

Pure sensuality...
I have deleted the old text because I changed my mind completely about this fragrance!;)))))
For some time now, I can't live without that smell! At first, I didn't really like that smell... Let's just say that I can still remember very well why I couldn't get along with this scent... I found the top note very bad in the beginning! But today, I just LOVE the top note more than the base note! *.*.*.* The funny thing is it took me exactly 2 years to fall in love with this fragrance, but also because I learned to understand the course of the fragrance in this time! Now you ask yourself what I mean by understanding... Let's put it this way, in the past my motto was "if the top note is stupid, but then the whole fragrance process is stupid too!... I know stupid thought... I think that is unfortunately with many people so that if they find the top note bad then the rest of the fragrance is bad too. And that is simply WRONG! By this habit+thought+attitude I have overlooked many great treasures which I have discovered afterwards (now) for me!... Thank god:D
Now I know why my mother always said to me that patience is the be-all and end-all in life...
Mama you were right about your words:D....

Be that as it may! I noticed that Poison Girl like LVEB unfortunately has no good reputation here on Parfumo or better said has a similar reputation... Whatever the reason! Because also there I have to step on the feet of MANY people! Poison Girl is not really appreciated here on Parfumo in my opinion! Surely each of us here has his own taste in scents which is just as well! But I think Poison Girl is unjustly badly evaluated here but also underestimated
I am aware that many people here are also used to other fragrances in Dior! And Poison Girl simply stands out, because it is not a typical Dior fragrance! PG is in my opinion the new hypnotic Poison... It has a similar scent DNA but the two are still not identical... At that time Hypnotik Poison was almost THE fragrance that women wore ( as far as I know) today PG is the new HP:)) I myself love the HP but PG is more my treasure:D
I don't want to torture you anymore and start with the fragrance description;D
The scent.....

As I mentioned at the beginning, I was not a big fan of the head note at that time?
Today I just love the top note! The bitter orange note is just brilliant! Very nicely juicy and deliciously juicy! *.* With me, the top note up to the base note is beautifully present in its most beautiful form!
The rose note is so warm and sensual on my skin... Pure femininity! Only what I find funny, on my clothes I can neither perceive nor smell the rose note except on my skin:D Also after a while I can smell a nice warm almond note on my skin which is strangely not listed. The almond note on my skin is similar to the almond note in Hypnotic Poison... The bitter-orange note unfortunately slowly and quietly says goodbye from the base note on my skin which is a pity, but nevertheless in my opinion the fragrance becomes more beautiful, warmer and more sensual!* The tonka bean gives the fragrance a subtle powdery note, while the vanilla note gets creamier from time to time and then merges with the almond note from which you can hardly take your nose off your wrist:D I always stick to my wrist like crazy when I apply this fragrance because in my opinion it has a strong addictive factor! The base note can be smelled on my clothes for two days!
Many complain that H+S is bad... Which I personally cannot sign! With me both the durability and the Sillage is EXTREME! On my skin this scent stays with me all day long... On my clothes it lasts two days! Until now everybody in my area has liked this scent very much, both women and men ;)) Personally I would describe this scent as sexy and erotic!) ( Is also my opinion there!)

Because I like this fragrance so much I also bought the edt and the unexpectet with the difference that the edt is fresher and fruitier. Unexpectet is also very nice and creamy, but has an interesting pungency that I think comes from the ginger note:)) If you are interested in the edt or the unexpectet you can write me if you want a fragrance description, then I can do it:)) Your opinion INTERESTES ME!;))

Poison was a femme fatale.
Poison Girl is a toxic nymphet who uses her vanilla pod as a gun and spits her tonka beans in your face. Ouch!

Closest thing to vtg Hypnotic Poison, remastered for 2016. Same appeal, miles above current gourmands, far better than current Hypnotic.
