Super office scent!
Find the fragrance just right for the office. I took it instead of the normal Dolce & Gabbana The One, because I feel The One Grey a bit younger and fresher again. I really like the strong grapefruit scent, which is in the beginning still in the foreground and after a short time becomes more of a secondary scent. Don't be mistaken by the mixed reviews and smell it impartially on your own skin!

One... once again
Is that The One for the gray business suit? Unfortunately no, unfortunately not at all. It's simply the normal fragrance, or better said the EdP, with a minimally woody, warmer, spicier finish. Mini mini minimal. That can be delusion, too. That's just not enough. The world doesn't need that. I like the still sexy scent of "The One", he brought me not without reason to our all fragrant hobby and therefore also to Parfumo. Therefore I can never avoid a test of every Flanker, no matter how generic it sounds. This grey wolf is only a disappointment even under the lowest expectations. It's more of a grey duck. No hope of being a swan.

Here you have to separate smell and evaluation: if I had run into olfactory virgin and him 10 years ago, then I would have been impressed. But if you know the last ones, or even all of them, and thousands of other scents, then "The One Grey" leaves you speechless. And the time just can't be turned back again. Comments are highly subjective. It's not grey, it's not different, it's not creative, and after a decade of "The One" it's close to impudence. This is not a flanker but rather a special edition of the original. It reflects this to 95% (or more) and has zero raison d'être. It's still the mildly woody Booz seducer - here only unfortunately including label fraud.

Flacon: the writing is cheap, the colour is fine, the flacon still quite nice.
Sillage: a bit more discreet than the EdP, but still too grumpy for the office.
Durability: D&G has improved the durability of its Ones in recent years. Seven hours.

Conclusion: even for The One fans a fragrance that can be skipped without a guilty conscience. Grey suit or no grey suit. Dull. At least if you keep an eye on the whole line. There "The One Gentleman" from some years ago was a real, independent success against

The one who does not let himself be defeated by the truth is defeated by error. Augustine Aurelius
Unfortunately also here a blatant error. You take the bottle in your hand, read something about Grey and think about flannel, dark tones in your head. Then you spray it on and realize how wrong you were. This grapefruit in this dark bottle? Heee, are you all right? In spring with a different design and with a different name. But like this? Incredibly wrong.
Too bad actually for the otherwise usually good smells of the house Sisheido. The house Sisheido normally brings many and good products to the market in the mainstream area. Unfortunately, this one hasn't turned out to be one.
The grapefruit goes long, very long, then the vetiver appears very strong. Afterwards the woods only conditionally.
For one test, okay, for nothing more.
The fragrance is as grey and dreary as the bottle itself.
The durability is also completely weak, here you can buy a fragrance that nobody notices. For certain certainly an advantage, for most only nonsense.

Dolce & Gabbana has recently become more of an error than a sure value.

Just a free sample
He'd seen all the movies. His best buddy from the Mucki booth in Chorweiler said that his new girlfriend was really into it. On the books, too, of course.

"You must have a little Mr. Grey in you, so, at least pretend you're like the guy, then the broads will find you horny," Dennis had meant.
"I can't," Leon replied.
"This is too embarrassing, dude. And I don't look as good as the guy in the movie.
"Well, try a cool scent. Melanie brought me a sample the other day... because she's so into'Shades of Grey', they gave this to him", Dennis explained and gave his friend a mini sprayer with a men's fragrance "You mean the scent turns women on?"
"I don't know, dude, I don't need this... they all like me, even though I'm really unwashed... i can talk well and have a lot of experience...". Grinning broadly, he struck Leon lightly in the pit of his stomach: "Six-pack is different,
my friend. "A wimp like you can try perfume...

The next morning Leon got up half an hour earlier than usual. Big morning toilet. The full program.
Today he would be back in training with Mia. "Strategic marketing considerations for efficient product placement at filling stations".
He had applied the sample with "Grey" completely to his neck and his chest freed of all male hair and sprayed it onto his shirt.
However, the fragrance was somehow meaningless to him, but he had no special experience with perfumes. Then he simply trusted Dennis and his girlfriend.

The seminar went on. Mia smiled at him several times during the break. Was that related to "grey"?
He took a heart and approached her. "Shall I take you into town after class? I got my car. "Really? That would be nice of you."
Mia beamed at him. "Just... could you possibly leave a window open while you're driving?" "Sure, why do you ask?"
"I don't like the scent you're wearing today."
"Can you smell it so clearly?"
"Yeah, he's probably from Aldi or something," giggled Mia.
"No, uh, it's a little more expensive."
"He smells to me like this new shower gel from Podolski. Street kicker or something. That's what you get at DM.....".
"How do you know men's fragrances, Mia?"
"My new ex-boyfriend used the whole series, it has such a nasty chemical wood note."
"But my scent is from Dolce&Gabbana," Leon threw in.
"Oh," Mia laughed. "That's who you are: you like to spend money on bullshit... i would never do that. Some alcohol in a hip package. What's the exact name of this stuff?"
"Grey? Well, that's what it smells like. As sexy as a grandpa at night on the Reeperbahn."
"Really that bad?"
"No. Gee, Leon, I just said all that to get into conversation with you. You never get your mouth open... and I'm not into scents. Men, I mean. "On men... whatever."
Leon felt an unpleasant blush on his face. Was that awesome. Whew.
"It was just a free sample, I don't spend any money on such things," he stammered.
"It's okay." Mia turned around.
"We have to get back to class. You know, Leon, I like a man who blushes as sweetly as you do. Let's go out for coffee in town later. I'm sure that'grey' will be gone by then."

A bold business manager
I find the fragrance wild and daring, something for a man who knows what he wants and how to get it through, of course in a very sympathetic way with a very charming smile. He strokes the single strand of hair from an almost perfect hairstyle. The beard is well truncated and looks like a pirate who has made a short trip to the office with this man in his well-fitting expensive suit. The fragrance has a beautiful prelude in the combination of lavender that smells slightly herbaceous and vetiver, the finish becomes soft and sensually demanding through the woods and ambergris, it lasts incredibly long without ever being intrusive. Near such a man one feels safe and nothing can happen to you. A spicy fragrance that is slightly dry, herbaceous and dominant but after a while makes the leap into the sensuously spicy. He leaves a very nice memory.

I don't understand people comparing this to the original. This is getting fresher and fresher, the eldest is smoky and amber, 2 things apart+1

To put it simple:There is 'The One', then you have the EDP wich is a little darker. And The One Grey wich is a little fresher. Nothing new

Lavender and vetiver give this a pronounced woodiness that's quite dry but there's also a sandalwood like creaminess in there too. Not bad.
