Grapefruit bomb

I have the fragrance for quite a long time, have been looking for what for the hot summer days that cools me down.
Often worn never satt Gerochen.
I was already asked when I wore it, whether I have just eaten ne grapefruit.
And so he also smells ... I find after the peel , and if you peel them
Somehow fresh tangy and refreshing
It reminds me of my childhood , the scent smells like vacation , swimming pool and home .
Durability is also quite ok . Enough for me in any case. Best ne small filling have and between drinne times refresh

A superior flanker in every way

I find most Light Blues to be a bit too generic for my liking. Then came along Forever with that ultra realistic, tart and rindy grapefruit pretty much nobody was expecting, so I started paying attention. But it didn't quite work for me. I love a realistic citrus and I appreciated it in that composition, however, it fell flat on my skin almost immediately after the opening leaving me wondering what else is there?

Enter: Italian Love - here that realistic grapefruit is back except it seems more refined. The grapefruit opening in Forever comes across as much drier, while here it shines and sparkles beautifully. There is a sweetness here that's not present in Forever, but it is done wonderfully and takes nothing away from what makes the citruses so lifelike. If anything the added sweetness accentuates Italian Love nicely. Admittedly, you do get a more authentic grapefruit in Forever. So if that's what you want above anything else, just grab Forever. It certainly stands out amongst other fresh scents. The problem with Forever is its magic quickly fades away.

With Italian Love I feel the opening, while obviously softening up over time, is easily perceptible the entire time its on my skin. I get increased performance over Forever as well, which is interesting to note because that one has a higher oil concentration (edp) versus Italian Love (edt). I had a feeling the projection would be stronger here, which it is. But I did not anticipate longevity to also follow suit.

To compare the two I'll use an analogy. Think of Forever as that gym goer who only works on arms and people poke fun of because he skipped leg day. Well, Italian Love has legs to it. Cardio is part of the exercise routine. It's full bodied, with the only caveat being the biceps are in fact a little smaller.

In warm weather this stuff is a no brainer. Just look at the juice color. It smells exactly like how it looks.

A Light Blue that lasts

Yes, it does exist! A light Blue that lasts for more than an hour or two!

Its DNA isn't nearly as close to the original as e.g. Sun or Summer Vibes, but it's such a fun, bubblegum pop type of perfume that improves my mood instantly. I'm happy to see the high reviews, I was thrilled when I tried it.

Although not a typical summer refreshing citrus, this one still requires informal, casual, spontaneous occasions. The grapefruit adds a note of sourness, and I find this interplay of sweet and sour very satisfying.

The Best Light Blue for My Money

t's mid-afternoon at your vacation home on the coast. Despite having gotten ready for the day about two hours ago, you just now decided to go out onto your balcony and enjoy the vista. Stepping out into the sunlight, you can smell the breeze off the ocean; but thankfully, the tide seems to have brought out all of the seaweed and fish smell with it - so you're just getting pure sea air and a little touch of musk.

Feeling a bit peckish, you decide you rather fancy a grapefruit, grab one from the kitchen, and bring it back outside to cut into it. The juices spray up at you in a fine mist, lightly coating your forearms.

Sitting back as you enjoy your citrusy snack, you catch a whiff of something, and slowly realise it's you, yourself. As you put your nose to your forearm, the sea breeze blowing up around you, at first, all you can catch is grapefruit - tart, fresh, and rindy. Putting your nose a little closer, though, you realise you're catching the dry-down of your cologne, lingering close to the skin, from when you started your day earlier. "Am I wearing Luna Rossa Carbon?" you wonder to yourself, "or am I catching my body wash? Maybe both."

In any event, the admix is intoxicating, and you find yourself sporting a relaxed smile; so, you lay your head back, and bask in the warmth of the sun, deciding to while the rest of the afternoon away in idleness.

As soon as I received it in the post, I thought it was overpriced, overrated, synthetic, pungent, like a drugstore fragrance.
In view of the reviews here and my sometimes unreliable initial assessments, I gave it a second chance the next day. And voila, grapefruit, green, guaiac. It smells sparklingly fresh, citrusy and spicy, light, velvety-tart, cuddly and yet not overpowering.
