The Canadian brand "Dsquared2" stands for bold and innovative lifestyle. With fresh ideas, unusual materials and creative approaches, the company has defined its own target groups right from the start and has thus been able to position itself clearly on the market.

Dsquared2 was founded in 1984 by the two fashion students Dean and Dan Caten after they graduated from Parson's School of Design. In 1991, the twin brothers faced the Italian fashion market, where they presented their first men's collection three years later. It was above all the holistic lifestyle concept of fashion, fragrances and accessories, combined with art, theatre and music, that quickly grasped the public’s attention and helped enhance their fanbase.

The company's "alternative luxury" includes several product lines and collections, all of which reflect the "Dsquared2" lifestyle. In addition to apparel, it also includes shoes, bags, fragrances and various accessories (belts, glasses, etc.) with which the two Canadians inspire their fans.

A glance at the list of artists with whom the label collaborated shows how much "Dsquared2" has come a long way. Famous artists like Madonna (2000, 2002), Christina Aguilera (2003), Tokio Hotel (2010) and Beyoncé (2016). The creative twins have also worked for Juventus Turin and FC Barcelona.

The company's history also includes the awards and prizes with which the two brothers behind "Dsquared2" have already been honored. These include the "La Kore" Award (2003), the "Golden Needle" (2006) and the "Best Designer of the Year" award (2007).

In addition, Dean and Dan Caten have been honored several times by the fashion magazine "GQ" as Style Icon of the Year, Men of the Year and Designer of the Year. And in 2009, the brothers received their own star on the "Canada Honor", the Canadian Walk of Fame
