The little brother of the superstar
I have discovered Dua Fragrances and even if it is difficult to get in this country (D), I am overjoyed to hold the Amberlicious in my hands. Already the first impression confirms the closeness to its big brother "Oajan" by PdM. It is not a simple dupe, it is family and therefore very similar in DNA.
Both fragrances/brothers are special in their own way. "Amberlicious" is clearly the younger brother and seems to me just a bit more peppy and just more youthful. The sillage and the durability are super and I find him perfect for the transition to the cold season. The bottle is not a gem, but at least the name is appropriately chosen.
The fragrance gives me a cozy feeling, but without being too homey or gourmand. Rum, amber, honey, musk and a touch of vanilla work here predominantly and very harmoniously with each other. You can wear it for going out, but also during the day for shopping. The nice thing is, you perceive him on your clothes again and again and he does not just disappear in the nose blind.
Conclusion:
"Oajan" remains a nose ahead, but "Amberlicious" is close and I always want to have both in the closet. Brothers belong together, after all.
