pure comfort
Yesterday I received again a well filled fragrance letter (I was allowed to browse again with you: thank you my love!), which did not fit completely into the house mailbox.
Instead of using the elevator and coming to me, the mail carrier pressed this envelope into the mailbox slot a little bit very hard - the lovingly filled shipment was hanging there now!
Having become clever and selfish enough to receive my mail with pleasure, I found the shipment soon after delivery - it smelled surprisingly promising.
One of the small "droplets" had opened the hinged lid; the contents were everywhere, even on the envelope.
One thing is for sure: I haven't left such an intense scent trace in the elevator for a long time
Unfortunately, it was the "Wood and Cognac" bottling that had suffered, but was therefore just as naturally in the first place of testing. Nevertheless: a pity because of the waste!
"Wood and Cognac" conveys everything that invites comfort; a stylish warm room in which a little fire invites you to linger, with dark wooden furniture whose polished surfaces reflect the flames: thick carpets, closed voluminous curtains, large bouquets of flowers in tasteful vases This impression is reinforced by the chestnuts: they spread original and strong autumn and forest scents, which are also imbued with a hint of oud; not very powerful, but clearly perceptible.
It smells vibrant with living nature!
The special nature of the rose geranium goes very well with this; it adds its own spiciness.
And it is quite astonishing how cleverly dosed tonka bean and cocoa (with which I am always a little cautious, perhaps even overtaxed) were added to this dark melange.
Everything fits; except for a little honey - that would have been the crowning achievement for me personally.
But also without honey: Sandalwood conveys here a breath of comfort, which crowns this fragrance creature!
The invitation to sit down in one of the large comfortable armchairs and stay for a while is hereby charmingly expressed.
I accept them gladly and lean back comfortably with a glass of old, golden cognacs.
In one of the matching cognac snifters, which fit so comfortably in almost every hand; warmed well by it, the mysterious aroma develops, which betrays golden grapes, vineyards, sun and much skill and love in the production!
"Wood and Cognac" here stands for pure well-being!
But I do not understand why this should only be reserved for the gentlemen: I do not agree with that either!
Well, gentlemen! The times when the tablecloths were removed and you stayed in the dining room with port and cigars, while the females had to disappear to the salon for coffee and tea, are fortunately over!
Therefore ladies: do not be shy and enjoy this extraordinary relief for many hours!
Full-bodied and with an exclusive fragrance it is a pleasure for all senses and a hangover only follows when there is nothing left of "Wood and Cognac": the bottle (or the filling) is empty.
