Surprise
Who would have suspected it? Uber is an interesting, attractively created fragrance that knows how to please. Based on the pyramid, I couldn't really imagine what to expect, but you can already see in the almost exploding top note that there's no spilling but a lot of tinkering.
The beginning with coriander reminds me astonishingly of Lindt's Christmas chocolate, in which the cocoa part was left out more or less. Nevertheless, this looks relatively charmingly gourmand without being too sweet. The surprise is a success.
A little later Uber unfortunately becomes a bit bumpy, slightly dusty, rubbery and not nearly as smooth as the entry promised. Hardly anyone would have had this unpleasant surprise in mind.
Fortunately, the scent recovers and slowly marches back towards drydown for a wonderfully lovely finale with a superb triplet of patchouli, musk and amber in ascending order of intensity.
The evil wonderful oud can also be heard, but it is finely dimmed in the background, so that it fits perfectly.
Especially here in the base area I was extremely delighted due to the sweetish amber to almost powdery warmth and was finally so positively surprised that I scored between initially 7.5 to 7.0 points and then finally an overall result of 8.0 points.
