I don't know what this is about...
I had a sample of it and didn't bring the name, especially the old magnolia, in accordance with the smell perception. It was desperate and I actually blame the name of the flower afterwards.
The fragrance is dry from the start and it stays that way. That'll do! And of course it is slightly flowery at the beginning and therefore more accessible. If it were still sweet or fresh now, it would be like a reference without comment, never to be seen again, in my archive.
Seriously, I can't get anything out of flowers, especially their imitation in flower form in perfumes. Therefore, I am always reassured when these seemingly unavoidable ingredients only have a subliminal influence. So also here.
I smell here sharpness (partly sourish-rusty), straw, wood, before the cocoa works its way through. The latter, by the way, in a tart, matching colour. At this stage, it reminds me of some of House of Matriarch's scents. The whole thing is then decided decisively by the influence of incense and Styrax, which carries the fragrance far away from its eponym. Very mature, very hearty and more severe and inappropriate than expected. He could be standing right in the middle of the Amouage Man line
A really very unexpected, and in my case surprisingly positive, outcome of my doubtful refill order for the full-day test that has now been completed. Passed!... i'd say here. The shirt from yesterday still smells strong and according to the impressions from yesterday. Feelings of happiness still on top, even if the expectations are surpassed so much and the scepticism turns out to be unfounded.
If the product in question were called ''Dessert Man'' (or "Dessert "Woman"?) and if it came from Amouage, which would actually be obvious, there would already be 20 comments and 40 statements here.
Sillage: good, shelf life: very good. I don't have a bottle of it yet, but it should be presented in the usual MGO bottles: classic-simple with a good spray head.
