Resinous wood and some kind of smokey scent
Regarding this perfume I think that with a title like the one in this review I could have described it.
I suppose that the birch tar in combination with the tobacco + labdanum (?) Is what gives me a smoky sensation, enhanced with what I would associate with resins.
It is not a kind of almost balsamic oud smell that some perfumes have, nor is it animalic-stable, nor does it have a sweet spot.
It smells of smoked European forest wood to me, a smell that conveys that comforting sensation of the kind one feels when sheltering at home in winter by the fireplace.
I would give it an intimate use to read and have a drink or a tea / coffee.
And yes, I would pronounce myself as to the most appropriate seasons of the year for what it transmits to me: autumn-winter.
The silage seems very discreet and close, lasting standard.
