Flowers or lemons?
It is always interesting how the olfactory impressions of a perfume in the first few days can still change. With this one, for example, I had at the beginning in the start quite clearly the garden carnation in the nose followed by something floral and then came the nuances of wood. Today, on the third or fourth day of testing (I don't know exactly anymore) I have - in the meantime constantly - first the mandarin leaf with a lemony scent in the nose relatively quickly followed by a slight cinnamon note, which I attribute to the spiciness of the following woods. And this impression lasts for a while until cedar and sandalwood really make their presence known. Flowers? Are there flowers in it? Oh. I like the tangerine leaf start well, although the flowers from the first day were also nice.
For me, durability and charisma could be like a little stronger. The durability is with me at so ca 5 hours and the sillage starts in the lower midfield and is quickly skin. When considering then to fall back on the EdP in the eventual purchase of the fragrance, I had to realize that it houses completely different fragrance notes. This surprised me, because on the homepage it actually only says that the EdP is the more durable and stronger variant. In general, neither on the homepage of Durance in France nor at the distributor based in Germany, where I got the samples, a detailed fragrance pyramid is listed.
Conclusion: I like "Nuance de Bois" EdT well and he could sometime become part of the collection. So he comes now only once on the "forget-me-not list"
