Noble metal
Gold is a precious metal. And this fragrance lives up to its name. He is noble. He is something special.
First of all, I have to admit that I'm not familiar with all of them in terms of notes. Peppermint, iris root, thyme and Somali incense I know.
First of all, you can clearly smell out the peppermint. Then the fig announces itself quite dominant. This should come from the fig leaf. Iris root and Somali incense begeleiten the whole thing.
But there's something else. In the background, Le Pavillon d'Or is spicy-bitter. Could that be the thyme? Anyway, it's so bitter that I can even taste the bitterness on my palate. It's special and certainly not everyone's cup of tea. I find it exceptionally good. It gives the perfume an interesting spin in a different direction and opens up a fragrance experience that also engages the sense of taste. That, I think, is rare.
It is Le Pavillon d'Or in my opinion a solid Dusita usual excellent quality. Like all fragrances, he will not meet every taste. But I like him decidedly well. He is not my favorite Dusita, but to be located in the upper third.
