José Eisenberg's beginnings are all the more astonishing when one learns about his childhood and youth. Born in Romania, he grew up in a communist dictatorship. Eisenberg's individuality came from his parents, who, as textile merchants, taught him a sense for elegant fabrics and beautiful designs. In addition, Eisenberg left school at the age of 13, which allowed him to gain experience in various part-time jobs.
Eisenberg moved to Florence to pursue his creativity at 21 years old. He created his first products in his make-up studio there, and his factory implemented these designs. Eisenberg became an honorary citizen of Italy in 1972 due to him creating many new jobs in the process.
At a later stage, Eisenberg also lived and worked in the USA, where he was active as a fragrance designer, researcher, developer, and thought leader in the cosmetics industry. Then, in the mid-1980s, Eisenberg wanted to combine his passions again, which led him to found his own cosmetics label. His stated goal was to enhance women's beauty naturally. This was done by enriching individual areas of the skin with oxygen.
The developments of the "José Eisenberg" label are all based on scientific research and extensive testing. Many of its products require 15 years or more from the initial idea to the start of production.
