Lettre de Pushkar's hot pink sister scent
A sharp, but feminine rose scent with a strong supporting notes of oud, patchouli, black pepper, leather and saffron. These notes can be really harsh and masculine together, but the sweet, jammy rose tames them all. A touch of juicy lychee helps her.
This might not be extremely innovative, it's a rose with oud after all, but a very well-crafted one. Think of a more natural version of Oud Bouquet or some of the more feminine leaning Montales. If you have several in your collection, you might not need this, if you don't, it's a wonderful choice.
Later in the drydown the amber and labdanum start to become noticeable and recall the warm, balsamic wonders of Lettre de Pushkar by the same brand.
The difference between these two scents is perfectly represented by their colors. Lettre de Pushkar is warm like the brownish red of its liquid, Rose de Pushkar is cooler and more assertive, like hot pink. It's sharper and more bitter, but at the same time fresher and more floral.
Even though Lettre de Pushkar touches my heart a bit more, I love this, too.
