An Oriental in summer
Today is a pleasant summer's day.
The sun shines mildly and a slightly cool wind blows through the streets.
This invites you to go for a stroll with your girlfriend.
Of course she has to examine shoes and I want to sniff scents.
There my eyes fall on the colourful packaging of Ungaro.
No tester available - so the husband is called to ask Parfumo.
He asks me explicitly whether he should look for Ungaro for her - or for Emanuel Ungaro.
I had already left the shop, and promptly gave the wrong answer.
The telephone description of the fragrance sounds summery - so back to the shop and bought.
When I get home, I realize my mistake.
An Oriental in summer?
But already the first spray surprises me.
Light and sunny, the genie in the bottle floats towards me, and is kindly at my service.
The juicy pear appears clear, and almond milk flows into it.
The plum is soft, and the tuberose is subtle - like the jasmine.
The patch appears light and sandal creamy cuddly.
The vanilla blends in delicately sweetly.
An unusual, slightly fruity Oriental that travels on the flying carpet.
Its lightness and transparency make it suitable for summer.
I am no longer annoyed at all by my confusion of names - I climb the magic carpet and fly along.
Maybe as far as Marrakesh?
