Lovely delicate white flower creation
I confess that A Study in Water was the one i was the most afraid in wearing. I have an aversion to perfumes with acquatic theme because almost always they are conducted in a poor way and create aromas that while are acceptable still seems distorted, truly synthetic noises instead of harmonies. Thanks God (!) it's not what Shelley does here and her study in the water theme indeed explore the serene, delicate and airy side of some white flowers in what seems to be a concern with find a balance between a good performance and the innocence/delicacy proposed. A Study in water is the most feminine in the collection and for me the simplest one, but perfectly executed. I smell a mixture of delicate elements of hyacinth, muguet and jasmine flowers, an aroma that keep a kind of white flower creaminess a distant metallic touch, this one mixtured in soft brushes of citruses, fruits, green impressions, everything supported in a moderate base of woods and musk.Compared with Chang Chang A Study in Water is a little bit less longlasting, bu t still lasting easily 6 hours in a delicate but lasting way.
