Favorite rose
I'm not really a fan of rose fragrances. Most rose perfumes somehow smell too artificial, too intrusive, often too pungent and sometimes too old-fashioned for me.
But since I was already very enthusiastic about Essential Parfums after a blind purchase of Divine Vanille, I immediately went for another blind purchase. Namely Rose Magnetic.
At first, this perfume is perhaps a little too tart for me. But after just a few minutes, a very beautiful, soft and, above all, authentic rose fragrance develops on my skin that is completely different from many other rose perfumes thanks to the fruity lychee note (only very subtly perceptible), a slight vanilla sweetness and, above all, the spiciness thanks to musk and woods.
Discreet, restrained, not an overwhelming rose fragrance, but a very fine, modern, quite clean, yet not cool fragrance that becomes warmer and warmer over time and lasts quite well on my skin.
In terms of sillage, Rose Magnetic is exactly how I like it - fortunately not room-filling, which I find really bad with perfumes, as I don't like to lull my entire surroundings. Instead, I am surrounded by a delicate rose fragrance that people right next to me can still perceive. That's quite enough for me.
