Excellent Warm Vanilla Gourmand
Sweet vanilla and osmanthus, which adds a floral touch with peachy undertones. The faintest dusting of spices give it a slightly dry, powdery feel. The spices and lurking tonka bean give a sort of tobacco-like accord, making this similar to a tobacco-vanilla fragrance with the balance heavily toward vanilla. Somewhat reminds me of JTC 400 with the way it accents its primary accord (vanilla here, honey + tobacco in 400) with floral and fruity accords. Like 75% vanilla, 10% spicy, 10% floral, 5% fruity. Moderate initial projection quickly softens to an intimate scent bubble over 2-3hr total. Longevity 5-6hr.

Excellent, authentic vanilla gourmand. The cinnamon really sells it as something to get warm + cozy with. Performance isn't great but it's surprisingly cheap for a niche fragrance -- at only $75/100mL (as of posting date) it's cheaper than some higher-end designers, like Dior Addict or Armani Code Absolu -- and purchases support a great company that makes heavy use of sustainable naturals and packaging.

A lot of people compare this to PdM Herod and Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille but I don't think it's that similar to either. Herod comes across as very tobacco-forward to my nose, while SDV has a prominent boozy accord and lacks the cinnamon. This is its own scent.

The Battle
I became aware of the fragrance through the dear Leni in a YT video. He should resemble the Herod and I wanted to start a comparison. To give you an insight MY opinion, attached a few juxtapositions:

Herod: starts much more subtle but pleasant, smoother. Tobacco from the beginning to smell out, great sweetness, not too much, vanilla in the base already perceptible at the beginning.

Divine: stronger opening and more synthetic. At the beginning little similarity to Herod, you have to give it a little time. I don't smell tobacco at first, very subtle over time. He is definitely sweeter; in the background I perceive very discreetly the clary sage, spices initially rather in the background, but come with time more to the fore

In a direct comparison, the Herod is definitely the winner. He is simply much better interwoven and individual fragrance notes are better to stand out. Starts very subtle, might like a little more "scream". Towards the end, it gets intensity though. The Divine Vanilla is also very nice when you smell it alone and not in direct comparison, because there it performs worse. He is clearly more synthetic and slightly pungent in the nose, but he has more sweetness which makes him perhaps more appealing to the ladies.

However, I think both are really great fragrances & I love wearing both. :)

No surprise
The bar was very high, one of the most famous perfumers has created new fragrances. It is a very linear fragrance that is hardly multifaceted and almost through going smells the same from beginning to end! I find the fragrance cool, however, he is in my eyes not a must have, vanilla fans will be happy here. The fragrance I would describe as very fruity and a touch feminine. It is definitely a summer fragrance, for the hotter days. On the whole I find the perfume very good and successful only is the packaging at such a price just "SHIT"! Otherwise thumbs up for Divine Vanilla :))

Looking for the next vanilla kick....
...I'm currently madly drawn to the vanilla scent. The thanks goes out here to the Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT. Unfortunately, to the horror of my bank account, the scent made me realize that vanilla does NOT always have to be cardboard sweet & sticky, but can be smoky, herbaceous, dry, unsweet and and and.... can be. I like those pure vanilla scents - like scratching out a vanilla bean and smearing it all over yourself from head to toe. But who wants that. Would be a little disgusting ;) After the MFK Grand Soir, this quite affordable niche fragrance was allowed to move in with me & I was enchanted from the top note. Unsweet, slightly smoky, spicy, warm, pure, easy to wear & above all easy to love vanilla bomb. The scent is 100% unisex. Vanilla & benzoin is my favorite combo in perfumes right now. Find myself very comfortable with the scent as not overbearing or too spicy. Is often compared on YT with Herod, only without tobacco note. I can not judge, but for the price, there could possibly be any Parfums de Marly fan hellhörig. Same perfumer, quite similar scents and a really great fragrance

Noble vintage wardrobe
You enter the apartment of a style icon, whose wardrobe consists of vintage unique pieces and countless elegant shoes of the finest quality. The walls an adventure in haptics and optics, the furnishings between Carlo Mollino and Finn Juhl.
Devine Vanilla should perhaps be called Various Vintage Vanilla and would hit the nail on the head. To vanilla and incense man mixes himself. Patchoulli supports the associations after visits of friends of individual taste. For me an absolute must for lovers of past times in the new world. Perfume is an attitude.

"You know right away where it comes from
The perfume is one of the few where I already like the top note very well, it starts spicy,
Muscat Sage is immediately noticeable but not overwhelming like many perfumes (where I'm glad when the top note is gone to enjoy the fragrance...)
after that incense and vanilla share the stage and the very discreet present (I can't describe it any other way) and that for a while...my untrained nose can still guess the tonka bean but then it gets out...It remains a pleasant, not obtrusive scent with good silage
and a bombastic durability
It's not hard to guess who the perfume is from...all of de Marly Fan's perfumes know it immediately

A bit sharper but very similar to Herod. Even quality wise and it's way cheaper & since Herod got reformulated this one is a no brainer imo.
