Fresh spicy aromatic
I must confess I know very little about the Sex Pistols as a band, but what intrigued me about this fragrance was the compelling combination of notes, that seems both unusual and very feasible (aldehydes, leather, lemon, pepper, plum - sounds like a party to me!).
As a first impression, the opening smells more on the masculine side., but soon enough the perfume develops into something perfectly unisex, unique and very British (as I define it) - it's sharp, cold, a bit dry, provocative, witty and spicy. The black pepper, citrus and leather blend into a very refreshing piquant transparency that lasts throughout the drydown. It has a cynical, defiant air that would fit someone who's cool, detached and a tad caustic - a nonconformist, an outsider. Well targeted and marketed.
Apparently, Sex Pistols have a cool personality.
