Refreshing waters with light sweetness
Hello folks,
sooo, meanwhile I am back from Turkey and have a look what I found there. An Eau de Cologne of the Turkish brand Eyüb Sabri Tuncer. Well, actually a dear friend really wanted to have this fragrance, so I got it for her (and yeah,... I know how it sounds... but it's not like that... umm... unfortunately not, ööhhh... :DD).

These fragrances or these colognes are not really fragrances that you could wear longer. In fact, they are intended for short-term refreshment only, and are usually more readily available as splashes to offer to guests who are refreshed by rubbing them on their cheeks, neck and hands. Therefore, you can't expect anything of high quality from something like this, so that most of these colognes offer more synthetic scents than high-quality essential oils.

So, why did said dear friend want me to get it for her? (... word choice,... word choice...) Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know I'm a pig D)
Well, she likes everything that has to do with fish and the ocean, and when she saw the bottle with its ocean print, she was blown away, but I have to admit that the bottle with the fish and seahorses looks really nice :)
This is just like when I have to test a scent, for example, when there should be tea in it (or when I see a tea picture on the packaging or the bottle). Anyway, I'm going to get the scent!

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins aquatically with maritime or more aquatic scents reminiscent of the sea, although the salt is missing. One smells violets, which smell sweet and powdery, but unfortunately also a little synthetic. When people here write about Cool Water by Davidoff, it comes down to this scent impression (at least as far as I can remember Cool Water).
A little pepper will give you a little spice without taking away the freshness of the fragrance.
Later another sweetness comes from the amber and there is a little cedar present. All scents smell a bit too mainstream-like synthetic, so not soo very great, but fortunately not horrible either. A little later the amber becomes stronger and is then the only source for the sweet notes here, since the violets soon fade away, whereby the scent also loses a large part of its powderiness, but it nevertheless remains soft, because the amber appears nice, so that the scent, despite aquatic notes, also appears somewhat warmer.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
Since the fragrance is a genuine cologne and therefore more intended for refreshment, the Sillage is of course among all sows :D Yes, the fragrance is best to smell at the time of spraying on, and after that it will become weaker and weaker until it soon becomes quite body-hugging.

The bottle:
The bottle has a large front surface and smaller or shorter side edges and thus looks a bit triangular when viewed from above. From the front you can see the motive of the back sticker, which shows an ocean with a fish and seahorses. The neck, spray head and lid are gold-plated. A nice, if not really high-quality bottle.

Soo, to be honest I expected a somewhat too cheap fragrance, but when testing I forgot again and again that the "fragrance" as described is not a real "fragrance", but only a cologne with a short-term effect, which doesn't even smell so bad. It's just an aquatic sweet scent that's okay if you like such scents. Otherwise you can enjoy the bottle :D

You don't really have to test it, but as a cologne I think it's better than most of these colognes offered to the guests, because most of them always offer the same thing, namely something "with lemons" in it, which then usually smell much more synthetic and worse than this one, well, depending on brand and fragrance. However, I found this brand here quite okay now, so that I could possibly test other fragrances of it on occasion. And the price of this cologne is unbeatable anyway!

The cologne is therefore very good for refreshment on warm days and lasts slightly longer than many other colognes. But a cologne remains a cologne,... no wonder that you can buy a huge 5 liter canister of this "scent" to bathe in :DDD

So, that's it again from me and I wish you a nice evening :)
