Spring in the desert, eventually.
I grew up in the southwest, so I came here looking for that nostalgic creosote note. The floral opening isn't unpleasant, but it's fiercer than I expected for "spring in the desert." As it dries down, it mellows into a sunbaked quality that definitely does evoke the desert for me. The creosote is strongest in the dry-down, soft and earthy, and the cedar note pops in and out.
