Whisky X hazelnut

First of all, I think the fragrance is really cool.

You are immediately greeted with a sophisticated whisky note. The cocoa, or as I often perceive it, the hazelnut, is not long in coming and embraces the whisky in a harmonious way. The drydown reveals a slight sweetness from the saffron, but the previous whisky/cocoa/hazelnut notes are not lost.

The fragrance is special, I have never smelled anything like it before. It is by no means subtle, but I wouldn't see it as a scream in the face either, rather a good average.

However, you should know beforehand what you are getting into. The fragrance will certainly not appeal to everyone, and there is no question of a classic "crowd pleaser" here.

The longevity is very good, I usually smell it throughout the day, applied in the morning and in the evening in bed I can still smell it (not too strongly of course).

At approx. 150€ RRP (100ml each), the fragrance is definitely "good value".

However, I would strongly advise against buying it blind, it's best to get a small bottle and see if the fragrance is made for you.

Whiskey Nobile is certainly a fragrance that divides opinion.
It is relatively unique and special. That is a very positive thing to mention in advance! A DNA with recognition value.

For me, the fragrance starts directly with the whiskey note listed in the base. Or rather, a kind of alcohol can be recognized.
However, the alcohol is tamed somewhat by the interesting coffee note and the thoroughly delicious cocoa.
This combination smells relatively wild, but it has something!
Not everyone immediately recognizes the alcohol in Whiskey Nobile. Or rather, person X perceives this alcoholic element more and another person gets little to no alcoholic elements at all.
It's really crazy how differently this fragrance is perceived.
For me, however, it definitely has these tipsy echoes.
But the coffee and cocoa tame it and make it stand out a little differently.

Over time, the alcoholic impression changes for me into a woody-alcoholic flair.
It's like getting the smell of real whiskey wood barrels in your nose.
The coffee and cocoa are still very perceptible.
I can also sense a kind of nutty character.
It also becomes slightly resinous for me.

Towards the end it becomes sweeter and sweeter and it gets a really pleasant spiciness.
It retains a slightly woody character.

How is the performance of the Whiskey Nobile? It impressed me.
The fragrance lasts a good 10+ hours on me. The projection is a tick weaker, but the sillage is definitely good.

This fragrance definitely deserves to be tested.
If only for the reason that its DNA is unique in its own way.

It was actually supposed to be a gift...

I received a small bottling of the fragrance and simply tried it out.
I was a little put off by the "whisky" in the name at first because, as a woman, I didn't necessarily want to smell like a liquor store. But out of curiosity, I bravely sprayed it on my wrist anyway. And yes, what can I say... It was LOVE at first sniff... Guys, I just don't have the words. It has a whisky note at the beginning yes, but this comes together with a fine espresso. Later it became softer and softer. The composition is so incredibly harmonious and perfect. At first I associated it with a mafia boss. Tailored suit in a Chesterfield chair, a glass of whisky in his hand and an espresso next to him. Somehow I immediately thought: Yes! That's him! The perfect present for my father for his birthday!
This morning I sat at my dressing table and thought about which perfume I wanted to wear today. The fragrance sample of "Whisky Nobile" smiled at me demanding. Me: OK! I think you're wonderful, why shouldn't I wear you too? Then I took it to the office. And what can I say? He smells so wonderful on me! I can't cope with it at all! This fragrance makes me feel invincible and totally attractive. I let my father smell it on me. He: It smells really great!

So: Now we have a problem... How should I give this fragrance as a gift? Should I just order it twice? It's not exactly a bargain. But it's simply AWESOME!!! What should I do?
Unfortunately, I will only be able to answer this question myself.

The name speaks for itself!

Whisky nobile, it's a strongly masculine, boozy, and elegant fragrance, but it could also be worn by a woman who likes this kind of fragrances.
Among the main notes are coffee, spices, leather, and obviously whiskey, on a woody and creamy/sweet base.
All the ingredients are perfectly blended and balanced with each others...
However, there is something that makes it really unique: maybe the note of storax? or frankincense?
I don't know... I'm not able to fully recognize the notes, but there's something inside that makes it addictive.
Also, on certain moments, I smell something like tobacco (even though it's not listed in the pyramid) so it's just a personal perception..
Anyway, I discovered it by chance at Esxence and I immediately ordered a 10 ml sample for testing when I came back... I was keep thinking at this good fragrance all the time!
However, it must be said that as fragrance it's not suitable for spring or summer, but only for the autumn and winter seasons.
Then it goes without saying that anyone is free to wear it whenever they want, but it gives the best in these two seasons!
P.S. the quality-price is great, the 50 ml format can be found on their official website for about 88€.
