For me a better version of the Shalimar Parfum Initial
According to my nose, the Fifi is not far from the Shalimar Parfum Initial, which I have for years but could never really wear, because something was always missing. Now I know what it was: the tobacco note. Fifi is a somewhat unusual but well balanced composition of citrus, rose, tobacco and amber. Has a slight sweetness to it and is definitely powdery. Applied discreetly, Fifi exudes elegance: I imagine a beautifully dressed lady in a luxurious smoking establishment. To me, Fifi is not a bit wicked or sexy ( but it may depend on how much you spray). Fifi has a chypre-like undertone, hence could be worn by a man as well. A lovely scent, and there will be a bottle on my fragrance shelf soon

Crazy bar slut?
It has been a few years now that I encountered the Fifi. And that was so:
I received a perfume exchange package and when I opened it, an incredibly beautiful fragrance flowed towards me! I had never smelled anything like it before!
I quickly identified as the culprit an advertising letter, which was neatly dusted with the fragrance. When rubbed against it, it strengthened even more. I was completely entranced.
I know it's not so chic to talk about cost in the context of perfume, but I'll do it anyway, because with my slim budget at the time, I was sad to realize that this fragrance was beyond the pale for me. So there was nothing left for me to do but longingly sniff the little letter from time to time. It was amazing, by the way, how long it lasted!

One day I came to parfumo. And read with pleasure in the forum that there was the Fifi as EdT at Créateurs de Beauté, and even in affordable! The bottle was a round ball and had I think instead of the nice pink Pömpelchen a normal spray head, the liquid was then still pink.
For the fact that it was "only" an eau de toilette, the scent was extraordinarily powerful and had a room-filling sillage. My colleagues at the time were happy to come "just so" with me to catch a nose full of Fifi. It also worked wonderfully as a room freshener.
However, it was over with the dream when the beauty creators closed their doors forever. For unknown reasons, there was the Eau de Toilette also no longer, not even with Mrs. Chachnil höchstpersönlich.

I have never forgotten the Fifi. When I thought of this fragrance, I was overcome by a real longing. As I said, I have never smelled anything comparable before or since.

If I am to describe the fragrance, I would say a powdery ambrierte spicy rose with citrusy prelude. That's about it. Actually.

In reality, he is an experience and I always have to smile a bit when I read in comments "cheap, vaudeville, smoky, wicked, tobacco and pub".
For me, he is all that by no means.
This fragrance is incredibly sensual, seductive, while at the same time fresh, lively, powerful and radiant. If somewhere therefore tobacco should be found - I have no idea where and when. Maybe I have a different idea of tobacco and associate smoky dives. But no, this fragrance has nothing at all to do with it.
I find him graceful, elegant, playful.

Graceful-playful elegance?
Graceful-graceful playfulness?

No matter how hard I try to find the right words for it, the reality is that I just want to rave about it and revel in it. That's how beautiful I find it.

Yesterday it was finally so far. After certainly seven years I was allowed to experience Fifi again. Yes, experience. This time as Eau de Parfum, in the flat bottle with the wonderfully kitschy pink Pömpelchen dran. That cute pink bow with the little gold coin! One could really think of a handbag dog "decorated" with these paraphernalia.

And then the first spray!
This wonderful freshness at the beginning, citrus notes they call it, you want to inhale it and wish it would not stop. It's like a delightful fresh breeze that buoyantly accompanies the powdered rose, which comes lightly spiced (with what, actually? A touch of cinnamon, perhaps?) garnished with a dab of amber. The whole thing is so wonderfully interwoven that it's a joy when a little whiff of it hits your nose!
It's not really a complicated scent, all the components are "on hand" relatively quickly and culminate in the already described powdery ambery spicy rose with a citrusy upbeat. Quite simple. And yet so wonderful.

Fifi is thus anything but a verr(a)uchtes pub slut. For me, she contains all facets of femininity that make a woman attractive and seductive.
Fresh, playful, fun-loving, but also profound, warm, soft, sensual, seductive - and also damn erotic.

By the way, I expected that the Eau de Parfum is heavier and you would have to dose it more carefully than the Eau de Toilette at the time. This is not so. On the contrary, this version is even a bit "flatter" than the EdT, this was still a lot fresher and "punchier". The EdP also does not last so long, after a few hours you can add more. This is for me but not a downer, perhaps I also come with the old-fashioned spray system not yet so well clear.

Anyway, Fifi is an incredibly beautiful fragrance and unfortunately you can only have one signature scent, otherwise this would definitely be my second :-)

Ladylike Tobacco Vanille
Today I got this cutie pie from a dear old friend of mine and although I'm still in the process of testing it, there is nothing more to wait for to write down the first impressions!

This is tobacco leaf all the way long followed by the warm amber accords that make it smell simply irresistible and that much alluring you'd wish to fall in love with yourself, lol! It opens up with strong mandarin blast, but it takes it only a couple of minutes to fade away and stabilize on the skin as sexy veil that wraps you all around the body.

In my opinion, this is a ladylike Tobacco Vanille!
Gorgeous! I'm in love!

Lasting power is still to be examined!

(thanks, honey!)

Keyword: Coriander
Not sure whether I'd want to wear FIFI CHACHNIL as a perfume, but it certainly did a great job clearing up my sinuses and nasal passages on a recent drizzly day. Wow, what a startling opening: massive coriander and citrus, which somehow (I guess, assuming that camphor or menthol or something along those lines is not also in here...) together impart a camphorous quality which lingers on and on. I am convinced that this would truly work wonders for anyone suffering from a bad winter cold. Could also be a nice sauna scent.

In fact, this composition may be more a piece of aromatherapy, when all is said and sniffed, than a perfume, for the camphorous quality never really fizzles out as I would have expected. The myrrh does become rather marked over time, but its chaperone remains near by. Although the notes are very different, in terms of overall effect, FIFI CHACHNIL does not seem that far from my memory of Vivienne Westwood BOUDOIR with its equally weird bubble gum note. Which actually, come to think of it, makes a lot of sense.

Elegant tobacco-rose with good sillage and lasting power. I appreciate it, but somehow it's not for me.
