Yes yes yes,...
How could it be otherwise, you have me also tonight once again on the neck with a new Kommi of me! And I have to say that today's commi/scent could make you cry a little, at least if you're not friends of colder days in autumn and winter and miss summer most painfully.
Because today I am describing the fragrance Cefiro (the EDT) by Floris. According to the description, the name in Spanish means "a light breeze" (or actually correctly "westerly wind") and thus naturally alludes to a nice breeze in a Mediterranean environment, for example when one is on holiday somewhere in such a place in the summer. You don't have to dress up thick and tremble like aspen leaves in every wind, or be annoyed to have stepped into a deep, disgusting puddle when it rains... no, such a breeze is a welcome refreshment on sunny days, when you wander through the beautiful landscapes and are simply and loosely dressed in T-shirts and shorts or a nice dress. You can enjoy the warm weather or lie by the sea and watch the bathing beauties... or, depending on what you or someone likes better,... the trained upper body and crunchy butts of the guys and... *wrong* ... ne... I myself prefer to stay with the bathing beauties :DDD
Be that as it may, it should be clear that the scent is a scent for warm days, and even if we should have winter now, maybe you can snuggle up somewhere nice with this scent and dream of nice summer days, or just cry after summer :)
One way or the other, it would be at least a change from constantly cuddling up with vanilla scents or something like that :D
And that's how the scent smells:
As expected, the fragrance begins quite fresh and refreshing with great oranges and lemons, which even smell so citric for a short time that they almost make the water run in your mouth because of the sour "taste", as it is sometimes the case with citrus fruits.
I also smell light nutmeg and light sweet notes that probably come from musk, this will surely show later. And somehow the fragrance also seems to have a nice, small, creamy note, which of course is also soft and soft.
A little later the sweet notes are a little stronger, the citric scents are still present and the fragrance begins to appear slightly woody. It also makes him warmer. Yes, you could think of light breezes here :)
Mostly the scent stays as described, only that you can smell the musk quite well later in the base (as expected), which smells quite good :D Of course the woody notes get better, even if you can't determine the "wood species" exactly. By the way, I think it's nice that you can smell the citric notes right to the end! This gives the fragrance a beautiful freshness throughout.
Yep, the fragrance is a very successful fragrance!
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is good, so at least for a summer scent I find the Sillage quite good, much better than most summery or citric scents. You don't have to get very close right away to smell the scent on one or the other and it smells good for a long time. I also liked the shelf life, as the fragrance still had a reasonably good smell after six to seven hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is clear and rectangular, slightly wider in height like a trapeze. The lid is gold-plated and the brand name is engraved on it. The label has a golden frame with a beautiful decoration. Otherwise it is black, on which one can see name and logo in golden writing. A simple but nice bottle.
Soo, the fragrance is wonderful. A nice, little citric scent with subtle sweetness and woody spicy notes that actually take a Mediterranean direction and remind you of beautiful places in (or am?? Or something else??? God, my German is so terrible!!!) the Mediterranean region. And that with everything that goes with it, i.e. hiking, swimming in the sea, swallowing salt water or buying expensive decorative objects, which after two months on the shelves finally get dusty again in the cellar! D
The fragrance is in itself unisex, but in the later base it seems a bit more masculine to me. It is versatile, i.e. it can be used in summer at work, in leisure time, in the evening or during the day on holiday and so on. Only as a party scent it might be less suitable, because the Sillage is a bit too weak for it (although the Sillage is still better than most summer scents!) and the scent actually smells more like a day scent than a scent for example for celebrating, but it is all in all very beautiful. At the beginning, where the creamy proportion is even higher, it reminds me a little of fragrances like the great Allure Homme Édition Blanche by Chanel and similar fragrances. Later, unfortunately, the creamy note disappears, but the fragrance still smells very nice, but then it is more aquatic and, as I said, more masculine and smells... boah, now I can't think of a more familiar example, but I would say, perhaps like fragrances like (the probably little noticed, but also very great) Agua Fresca by Adolfo Dominguez.
Yes, I liked Cefiro pretty much, I would definitely try it. And I should also test the EDP on occasion how it is!
So, that's it. Have a nice evening, tomorrow a good week start and see you :D
