Familiar
When I tested "Seringa" it seemed to me somehow familiar. I first compared it with the extraits of "Tosca" and "Anai Anai". Yes, they might be basically similar with the kind of perfume in respect of the ingredients like musk and oakmoss because "Seringa" is a sweet and floral chypre.
But "Seringa" is different. It starts immediately with a superb note of soapy sweet flowers. Though it's a chypre the scent does not have a detailed and long development. When the soapy note has vanished there is arising a delicate blend of sweet flowers in which obviously the scent of seringa is playing the main part as the name of the perfume promisses. Seringa is a kind of wild Spanish orange-blossom more tangy than the commonly used orange-blossoms. As far as I am informed. In a few minutes the musk and the oakmoss is mixing up with the other ingredients dominated by musk.
"Seringa" now on my skin is lasting more than 12 hours. A long time it is staying softly smelling around me and close to my body. After about 10 hours ist is slowly fading out.
Concerning the familiarity I realize somehow that "Seringa" is remembering me so far to some classical lovely scents of the second half of the 20th century. But it is though a new and modern createt perfume with new ingredients.
Therefore "Seringa" has an unique scent.
High quality ingredients are manufactured into the Floris Parfums. And I start to sense that Floris Parfums have a kind of basic fragant blend which is giving all scents of them a typically and special character?
"Seringa" is a delighting delicate scent like a transparent veil, clearly feminine and for those who love flower-scents, musk and chypres.
