Sublime fragrance
I've tried this in every season now, and it was good across the board but best in spring/ fall.
The blackcurrant note hangs for a long time and reminds me of Polo Red Parfum in terms of muted fruitiness. I when I wear Floris, it's because I want to wear something unique, but not something that makes me a challenge to be around. This fits that bill. Sillage and staying power are in the range that I desire (like Goldilocks- not too strong, not too weak). The dry-down is lovely as I can pick up the tea & pepper, leading to a pleasant, sweet, woody scent as it becomes more of a skin scent. The best is at the end of the day when I change out of my work clothes and get a woosh of the scent that was still in the clothes. Like finishing the creamy head of a Guinness at the end of a pint.
I gave the pricing a 5 because in the States at $300 a 100ml bottle, it is very much a luxury. But I was able to get a 10ml to test it out and found a 100ml for a very good discount that put it in the range of other designer brands.
