Medicinal and classical
Maduro is the last perfume that i try un this discovery set and is one of the BEST ones. Summing Up i would say that in my f&m top would be charlatán, harem rose, confessions of a garden gnome, jardins de giverny and maduro and the ones that i have liked the less are bojnikoffs purple hat (overall because of the price), amber absolutely, forty thieves and suleyman le magnifique and fatih sultán mehmed which smell very very good but dont last a while.
Regsrding maduro i would say his name says all: It is a mature scent...but in a good way. Amber absolutely remebered me a lot to my grandfather and to perfumes like varón dandy and forthy thieves, for example has something weird that on my skin doent develope beautiful... But Maduro is very classic but very nice, is something that i would probably wear. The mix of the fruits with the rose, the honey, the spices, the tobacco (but thought It is mixed with sweet notes has nothing to do with tobacco vanille, are totally different perfumes, ornwith amber tobacco) and the background woofy-balsamic with a bit pronounced masculine vibe given by the patchouli/vetiver is very Well blended, creating a fragance very pleasant, intense but subtle and delicat. It has also some medicinal character that i thought could be oud and aniseed but these notes are not listed so i suppose would be an effect of this mixing of notes. I think probably the most similar perfume that i have tried could be behique by renier, but not being the same, but because of the sweet/Green/spicy tobacco.
I think It is a perfume that probably would develope better under cold and moderate temperatures, probably unisex although i think It is easier yo wear by men and with a better projection and lasting power than other fragances of the House (not being a beast)...

Winnie dropped the cigar in the honey bucket
Maduro, what does the name say? My guess at Fort & Manle is that they look for names of fragrances that describe the subject well. The garden fragrances are, many oriental or Ottoman-influenced fragrances bear the names of rulers from past ages, for example. This may seem cynical at times when you look back on the reigns (the honored FvSpee wrote some very nice lines about another perfume from this house), but the name says it all, we will now devote ourselves to perfume. I only associate the Venezuelan president with Maduro. I don't think that he is the eponym here. In any case, I also received this fragrance thanks to the dear gift of a perfuma, my thanks at this point.

Let's get to the fragrance: the more scents from Fort & Manle I have tested, the more I can say that Maduro also carries the typical signature of the house when it comes to gourmand and heavy scents. At first it begins overloaded, very heavy and floods me olfactorically with all kinds of impressions. Does the mentioned fruit basket come out in the pyramid? Yes, if you know that and you search purposefully, it can be guessed but only with plenty of cinnamon. There was no saving and quite quickly a dark, viscous honey dominates and even more so the beeswax is noticeable. Since I - now I have to bring up the shoe history again after Cuir Intense - used beeswax for a while to care for my shoes and this concise smell still lies in my nose, I can only say: yes, whole pots of beeswax were used. But it smells pleasantly deeper, darker, the honey will do that. Apparently rather honeydew. It is sometimes also very viscous but smells nice.

some notes get a bit lost due to the intensity of the honey. However, tobacco should be clearly emphasised; a pleasant tobacco, not at all sweet. Even more sweet, the visit to the dentist would have been the order of the day. I do not want to pick out every nuance. The fact is: if you like honey, cinnamon and tobacco, please help yourself. If you're not into heavy, dark, powerful scents: Go ahead, but at Fort & Manle, go straight to the flower department, and even that's only relatively easy to digest. For all others a nice scent experience that trains the nose but is probably not a must buy

What an Intoxicating fragrance, very alluring and gorgeous. Opens with fruity notes, Pineapple and Apple which create a nice boozy aroma. Tobacco is present throughout the life of this fragrance combined with honey. A unique Tobacco based fragrance.

garden and tobacco
caution, search hazard
it all started harmlessly: your nose pretended you were in an orchard. apple trees... ripe apples with firm, aromatic skin, pineapple juice...fresh and aromatic,
but then the scent turns and the most delicious, brightest tobacco flows in,
honey stained and mixed with a hint of rose
an indefinable mix of home, safety and nature
superficially warm golden, superficially fresh.
so translucent and slim that a woman can wear it effortlessly
so seductive that you don't even think about perfume anymore...

distantly related to "baque" by slumberhouse, but more elegant
