Sweet flower power with depth
I smelled this fragrance in Grasse at Fragonard for the first time and immediately he had to go :-)
It is sweet and floral and yes, some days it is too sweet for me, but the composition is neatly done well and the notes harmonize perfectly on my skin.
I can wear it in any season. In summer it's floral and cheerful, in winter it's deep and festive. The tonka bean comes out beautifully on my skin after a while. Also, the mandarin with the cinnamon make the fragrance quite suitable for winter.
I'm not a big jasmine fan when it's too strong, but here I find it wonderful as a support to the heliotrope, which my nose smells the most.
The scent has earned me a compliment or two in the office and if used sparingly, it's definitely not a headache candidate. Two sprays bring me easily through a 10 hour day.
You can argue about the bottle, but the fact is, it is functional, as it protects against light and short-lived temperature fluctuations. I have the fragrance for 10 years and the first years he stood with me against my better judgment in the bathroom. He still smells like the first day :-)
