Sweet diamonds?
Hello sniffers, today I'm coming back to a Fragonard fragrance again, as I still have the hiking package and therefore have to test this brand more (must...), but of course I also put commissions of other brands between the individual fragrances, so that you don't get too bored and you leave me as a subscriber!! Let's see how many people still like to read something about me... O MY GOD, I've already lost 150 subscribers!!!

Hey hey, no no, of course not... because I don't even have 150 subscribers!!! Waah!!! Nobody likes me *sigh* :DD

But all right, let's get to the scent. This time I introduce the "diamond", and yes, the scent is actually called diamond, so it is also written in French, so I looked it up extra... because I didn't know it either :DD

So, diamond it is. Also clichéd known as the best friends of women. Why? Because they sparkle so beautifully? A diamond is nothing more than compressed coal, which looks like sparkling and cut glass... crazy that you spend so much money on it, argh! :DD
Or at least spend if you had a wife or girlfriend. Yes, today I'm not complaining about being single, but I'll tell you one of the advantages of being single: You save money because you don't have to buy jewelry! Hooray! ... * despite.having.to.sigh.arghhhhh* :DD

Okay, now for the odor:

The fragrance:
Hm, the fragrance has a very nice and interesting beginning with citric-spicy notes. I smell citric and slightly sweetish mandarins, even sweeter jasmine, some pepper and also caramel.
A little later the fragrance becomes really sweet. One still smells a lot of jasmine, but now also a vanilla sweetness. There seems to be a slight synthetic in the background, but I don't find this disturbing. Still later the sweetness of the fragrance goes back a little bit. Of course, the fragrance remains quite sweet, but the sweetness is not as overwhelmingly strong as at the beginning of the top note. In addition, the fragrance is much more interesting and mature than just a sticky-sweet calorie bomb due to the fruity notes such as plums and oranges that are now emerging!
In the end, however, the fragrance smells quite sweet and also quite synthetic. Well, at least it is a little powdery, so that it still smells nice despite all the sweetness and synthetics, but nevertheless, the end I found the least successful with this fragrance.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is quite strong, because especially the sweetness of the fragrance radiates strongly and envelops everyone in a large fragrance cloud. This way I also found the shelf life quite long with over ten hours!

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and ends with a dome in the upper part. This is where the chrome-plated lid, which is round at the top and cylindrical at the bottom with pressed-in sides, on which the brand name was engraved, comes in. Compared to the other Fragonard bottles, I find the bottle a bit simpler, since the label here only has a chrome frame and does not offer a colorful floral image, but it comes across a little more elegant. All in all, nice.

So, so... to be honest, you can be slightly shocked at the beginning if you imagine an elegant fragrance because of the name "Diamant" and suddenly you are hit by a sugar bomb because of the many sweet notes. However, most of the sweetness is more present at the beginning, so you should give the fragrance some time to develop.

Of course, the fragrance is and remains quite sweet, but later it is not just a sugar bomb, but has its elegant sides despite its light synthetic (which is not so extremely disturbing, but without it the fragrance would have scented much better), because it is quite feminine and even sexy. This makes it a nice scent for the evening and for going out. Maybe not one of those fragrances you should have or should have, but I think it offers a lot at a reasonable price.

It is best used in autumn and winter and fits best in the evening or to go out. So you could test it, even if this is not a must, because there are a lot of more beautiful, sweet scents.
And that's it again. If there are only about three to four Fragonard Kommis left, then you'll be rid of me... no, not at all, then there are still many, many, really many more comments :D

Well then, I wish you as always a nice evening, then until the next time :)
