A fragrance called Frivole. Why are you all staring at me like that?
Hello folks, I'm coming by today for another Fragonard fragrance. And you're staring at me with this smell, aren't you? What's the matter with you? Just because the fragrance is called Frivole and I occasionally, very rarely make ambiguous or cheeky-slippery jokes here? Hey! first of all this happens more in summer when I think of lightly dressed girls or hot bikini babes and secondly... uhh well, maybe I write something every now and then that might be called frivolous. Or just certain things with some (LESS!) dirty thoughts! And maybe that's why you're right to stare at me stupidly,... well then keep staring while I describe this scent here :D
As the fragrance progresses, the fragrance remains citric and floral for the time being. A very small sweetness still appears, which could come from the lily of the valley, but also from jasmine. Otherwise, the fragrance is slightly soft and delicate with light, powdery notes.
In the base, the citric scents become significantly weaker, making the fragrance more floral and sweet, but still light and fresh. One still smells (I think :D) a mix of jasmine and lily of the valley, as well as some musk, and the patchouli gets slightly stronger. All in all, Frivole is a nice, feminine-summery and not insanely spectacular fragrance.
Soo, so this fragrance has become quite nice, but frivolous in itself it has nothing at all. Because it doesn't smell sexy or opulent in any way of make-up-like scent or anything that could make you think of things like light girls in certain establishments. Nothing here smells of super sweet, heavy scents, nothing powdery, nothing lipstick-like. To be honest, the fragrance is even quite good and harmless, because it simply smells summery fresh and citric (and a little more flowery in the base). Almost innocent, which of course also causes some thought games, so that the name of the fragrance probably already seems appropriate again :D
As I said, it is a nice companion especially for the summer, when you want to feel fresher on hellish hot days. And since it is so weak, it is actually intended only for its own use. Sure, you should always buy fragrances for yourself, but you want to be well received with certain fragrances, why else should you wear a fragrance when going out? It's just that hardly anyone here will notice this scent on anyone.
Apart from that, I think the fragrance is nice, but not very fragrant. It does not have any branded spots, therefore it has no special advantages, but also no disadvantages. Well, he already has one small advantage: He is quite cheap, and if you are looking for a nice, little citric-floral summer scent, you can try it out here.
Well... I'm done for tonight again. I wish you all a nice evening, and see you all next time! :)
The fragrance:
The fragrance begins beautifully fresh and citric with mandarins and bergamot. The background is flowery, but you can't tell yet what flowers you smell. I also smell a very slight, earthy note now, which probably indicates the coming Patchouli. As the fragrance progresses, the fragrance remains citric and floral for the time being. A very small sweetness still appears, which could come from the lily of the valley, but also from jasmine. Otherwise, the fragrance is slightly soft and delicate with light, powdery notes.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is quite weak and evaporates soon after being sprayed on (especially now in autumn), so that it is soon so weak that one would have to flatten the nose at the sprayed place to be able to smell the scent. It is possible, however, that in summer it can be smelled better on one for a short time, especially if the scent is applied more generously to the clothing. The durability is therefore also quite short, so that I would indicate here two to four hours. The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical with an inwardly pressed bottom, on which a floral, sun or star-like pattern can be seen. The bottle ends at the top in a dome. The lid shows the engraved brand name in the lower part and is rounded at the top. The label has gold-plated edges and shows coloured flower motifs. A nice, but rather unspectacular bottle.
