The South of France in a bottle
I have had a long interest in Fragonard as a house ever since I had the opportunity to visit the factory in Grasse as a teenager. Ile D'Amour was one of the first scents I discovered by them and after going through several bottles over the years, it's long earned a place as a "lifer" scent for me.
A light, pretty and feminine scent my nose really picks up on the lilac and the sea notes. The rose is there, but it's a cheery, dewy rose rather than a cloying or gothic one. The effect is overall lovely and it will work well for women of all ages. I truly think this smells like the summer in South of France in a bottle. The longevity is pretty poor and it only lasts maybe 2-3 hours on my skin, but Fragonard is such an otherwise accessible niche brand in my opinion and if the scent is aces, I'm willing to give on longevity.
