Definitely Refreshing!
Fresh PINK JASMINE is an oddly refreshing fragrance. I would categorize it as a fruity-floral composition, but it's not really identifiably fruity. It seems a bit citrusy, but it's definitely not a member of the citrus cologne family. Nor is it identifiably floral. This is not at all a typical jasmine perfume, that's for sure!

Nonetheless, despite its overtly abstract nature, I find PINK JASMINE rather likeable. It does not quite fit into the SSRI fragrance category--those creations which, albeit somewhat superficial, still manage to bring a smile to my face--but it smells friendly and affable and whenever I wear it (usually when going to a public place such as a library), I enjoy tiny wafts of it throughout the day. All of the Fresh fragrances have a kind of density which I very much appreciate. They are not watery and weak, although the longevity varies from case to case.

Nothing really smells like Fresh PINK JASMINE but Fresh PINK JASMINE, so it's definitely unique in my experience and difficult to describe. I honestly cannot think of a single other perfume which smells like this. For that reason, it is a must try before you buy. I imagine that some people will find this linear composition too flat and synthetic, but others may well find it just as refreshing as I do--and PBullfriend does, as well, see below!

I'm not actually sure whether this is still in production, but it's worth a sniff, if you can get your nose on some.

sweet but tasteful
A sweet fruity-floral that is very well done. (No recognizable jasmine, to my nose.) It strikes some interesting notes that take it out of the usual fruity-floral range -- I think it's that the fruit is mandarin rather than the more common berries. Refreshing, and not embarassing for an adult woman to wear. (042509)
