Incandescent Fruity Fruity-Floral Fragrance
Fresh STRAWBERRY FLOWERS smells remarkably similar to Hawaiian Punch for the first couple of minutes after application. Fortunately, the vetiver-like "woodsy notes" sweep in shortly thereafter to moderate the tropical fruitiness. But STRAWBERRY FLOWERS remains a sunny, almost incandescent fruity-floral fragrance throughout its long life, and it projects quite a lot--especially for this category.
The notes are not easy for me to tease out, and I'm not even sure that I ever really detect strawberry per se, but the composition as a whole smells quite natural and offers another example, along with this house's PINK JASMINE, of the real possibility of an entirely respectable fruity-fruity-floral fragrance.(Osmanthus is already a fruity flower, right?)
One reason why I appreciate the house of FRESH so much--in addition to their use of very natural-smelling notes--is that their eaux de parfum really are what they claim to be. No dilution issue whatsoever with this house, I'm happy to be able to report.
