"Socialism in its course..
...will not stop Öchs or Äsel." Unforgotten the caricature from many years ago, in which a honecker lecturing this drives towards the abyss in a handcart, while the dear cattle, chewing (again) in a relaxed manner, notes with a thought bubble: "We don't even think about it...".
Now 'tonychi' doesn't even think about acting like a "normal" scent. I am already warned when I sniff the tube, because I have to think of the corked mushroom note of "CB I Hate Perfume". Optionally - more nicely formulated - the Ambrette mushroom soup. But none of it is found after spraying on. Instead there is dusty bergamot, dark astringent. Nevertheless, she has a portion of fruit and a tiny candy sweet in her luggage.
The rougher ingredients simply gradually join in with this relaxed mixture and soon amaze with a touch of barbershop atmosphere. An almost smoky needle-like ethereal is limited to the immediate vicinity of the skin, with some distance a restrained freshness of citrus fruit with a latent limonade appearance dominates. Pretty special. And original in so far as the thing in the projection reminds me of Dill, as I was told both interested and unasked.
As the wine progresses, it develops an ethereal, dusty freshness with a slightly citric note, which is probably rosewood. Everything I know or suspect about it fits and it now seems to have become the backbone of the event. It's ATA scouring powder from afar. The fine Süppchen acid from above was probably not derived from a corresponding mushroom dish, but already indicated the rosewood linalool. It's strange to confuse a mushroom soup with scouring powder. Anyway, something with Ambrette might be in there.
Mr. Bedel doesn't make it easy for me. I am relying on the fact that his data overwritten with "Core Notes" leave room for speculation on the part of the authorities. Well, I guess a slightly acidic, frankincense base, a thought that seems plausible to me much earlier on the second day of testing.
In the early afternoon 'Tonychi' gets a little darker in the wood, but it stays fresh, almost limonadish. I think it looks amazingly similar in style to this or that ISO-and-Co-pepped thing. And this brings me to perhaps the most remarkable oddity: an increasing transparency or transparency of the fragrance image in the course of time may well be considered unusual. And the present candidate is constantly tidied up and reduced towards the rear. Yatagan's reference to Ellena is therefore undoubtedly justified, but today the immanent richness of natural ingredients helps to ensure that it does not become bland.
Conclusion: Maybe Ochs, Donkeys or whoever could have dampened the one or other lustful swing a bit. I am missing - even though I am quite taken with almost every phase, so to speak in isolation - the arch that runs through the whole affair. Tonychi' does not come therefore for me altogether beyond a tidy Gehtso.
I'd like to thank the robins for rehearsing.
