Not only in Grasse is THE great one!!!
As far as "Grasse fragrances" are concerned, I have already had some good experiences. After all, they are produced in THE European fragrance capital. Nomen est Omen....
And even without a big name "Carnet India" can be classified among the leading brands in fragrance technology.
So lightly based on "Feminité du Bois" by Serge Lutens and yet very independent it comes across as "powdery-earthy" with lots of wood and warm ginger. I mean, even sniffing moss and some cinnamon.
A warm desert wind blows so casually from far away through a mixed forest, which has to offer beside cedars and other conifers also different deciduous trees and much undergrowth.
A light, "birky" fragrance is added as the fragrance progresses and has a herb-friendly effect on nose and mind.
I think it's the blend that makes a perfume look interesting and "round". "Carnet India" is very interesting, almost mysterious and very "round", but with small "tips" that always appear when you least expect them and keep pleasant curious tension going. The scent doesn't get "boring" and just chills away.
Because: Not only in Grasse is the class, also in Hessen's south he delights the minds (of course at the end with "R", only so that it rhymes)
Great scent, good durability, good silage!
