Mattiolo Uomo turns up the highs from 25° and whistles on basses
Rather late to write a commentary on one of my favourite summer scents after more than 20 years.
Well, how and where is the best way to start? Do I even write a long comment using all 7500 characters? Now? When the fragrance is hardly available anymore? And now when hardly anyone knows it anymore?

Alberto Morillas is a perfume light figure and has created many a legendary fragrance.
But what exactly led to the fact that the label "Mattiolo" hasn't gained any importance in this country (at least not for perfumes) is unknown to me, I don't even care
What I care about is the fact that such a great and above all unique summer scent like "Mattiolo Uomo" has simply flown completely under the radar. I don't know of a single scent that sprays such a scent DNA right at the tip.
If you wear the perfume at very warm to hot temperatures, a splash of the fragrance feels like a positive whip stroke, awakening all your senses and the need to cool down. Here "Uomo" lets his muscles play
I am by no means a perfume professional and I certainly cannot dissect such a creation into its individual parts. But that is not important to me personally.
He's certainly complimentary. It may sound audacious, but it's not a perfume - apart from "Dior Sauvage", I've received as many compliments as this one. Well, Prada Amber maybe, but that's a different category
As already mentioned, the top note is through and through a freshness kick with a very special fragrance experience. Comparable to a tour through Sicily's lemon plantation directly at the sea.
After about half an hour a soft and spicy coriander note is added. The pepper described in the fragrance pyramid is nowhere to be found. I am inclined to say: Fortunately, because this is how Morillas' stepchild keeps his fresh and later on soft and pleasant DNA.
Deep basses must be completely "left out" here. Not even in the beginning does the perfume become "heavy" or darker at any time. Musk? Hmmm, okay...but...? Where?
I attest the perfume a good 3-4 hours durability, which I find quite good for such a fresh scent. The scent does a lot of projecting, especially in the first half hour. Once you scurry through the office corridor and everyone knows who is in the house.
That's all I can write about this extraordinary perfume, except...If you'd like to try something new for the summer, you can try your luck to get hold of another copy. I will do it in any case, who knows when this newcomer will disappear from the market completely
