disappointed..

I mostly agree with dolby.. to me this was a disappoitment also.
I was hoping to find a mysterious iris, but all i could find is something a bit smoked, the olibanum? I could'nt detect iris at all , just in the drydown a clean musk.

Trick and no Treat

This is one bizarre experience.
Look at the notes…
What do you see?
A collection of powerful bases, redolent of lushness and warmth, of mesmerizing far away lands, and bewitching ointments that will stick to your flesh like a love spell.

Apply, and what do you get?
A fragrance with a strong initial alcohol blast, quickly followed by a thin and watery personality with a vague incense edge that completely lacks oomph and leaves you feeling deflated and rather perplexed.
If feels to me as if the perfumer forgot to add fixatives.
This has no projection and an abysmal longevity.
What a shame.
